It needs the rest of the city to get off their backsides and support the club.

That plot off Albert Drive is screaming build a stadium on me. I am sure the powers that be have considered it. I even sent an email to AG at the club to remind him of it a couple of months ago (never heard anything). Only problem is we would have to buy it and pay for the stadium ourselves (and jump through the planning hoops) that would be over 20 million quid and some. Cannot see how that would happen (unless there is someone else who wants to come in with us e.g Guisley, Ossett Town).

Never said it was , just mentioned it as people may be interested . It may not even happen , they both just seemed to be into the idea that's all .

Wakefield FC are in talks or may even have agreed by now, to share Ingfield with Ossett Town next year.

Maybe AG popped down his local bank and got a little loan, I'm sure he has good credit

Just what I was thinking.
If anyones unsure of the site it's worth a look on google maps.
Basically it's a huge rectangular plot split into 3 a plot of around 50% and 2 of roughly 25%. The total size is easily big enough for stadium, muga and car parking.

Put it this way. It's far more "ready to go" than either NM or GH.

Maybe, or maybe we are strafing the Wakefield Sporting Club and losing the Trinity hence why we are looking at bringing the badge back to keep the tradionalists (Old farts) happy?
