I don't see the appeal myself, never, ever been a Saturday drinker due to playing football on a Sunday morning and not being one of those who can play hungover. Surely that's all we're up against though, but alcohol will be available at the ground and people could make their way into town afterwards.
Here was an opportunity to team up with the local bars, taxi firms, restaurants etc... to do deals for people attending the game.
Like Wildthing, I'd seriously like to know what has been done this week from the marketing team.. |

Do Wakey have a marketing team? If they do then I too would like to see evidence of their efforts this week.
If somebody commands a full time wage for marketing trinity then I want that job as it seems to be money for old rope. |

FFS give the marketing folk a break. I am all for marketing, I know we could do more and should do more but this is more than marketing.
We are in the play offs. We are playing well.We finished 5th in the league.
This game should not need marketing, if the people of Wakefield really liked their Rugby League they should be out side the ground queing up now. The bottom line is that the Wakefield public are pathetic !
By the way went to see a great acadamy game last night. The guys are playing great and they beat Wigan and are now in the grand final.
ABOUT 300 WERE THER TO WATCH. and that is why this City dosn't deserve a rugby team.
