Yes think Butterworth plays more full back than half back when I've seen him play in reserves or 19's always looks safe under high balls and good positional play when he played boxing day at Leeds I thought he looked very confident in his all round play don't think he would be phased by it

Not saying butterworth couldnt do a good job and if he plays good luck to him and i hope he gets man of match but in context of the game because although its certainly not a relegation decieder its certainly a very big game and putting a kid in and a kid not in his preferred postion of what i believe could be bad to both him and the team toulouse will pepper him all night long.playing sl is a different level to under 19s some seem to forget.we saw it with poor murphy last week.so for me i think kaye may best option.glad im not willie though im justvhoping gaskell is fit

I don't see why Kay being out of position in a position he has never played is better than someone currently playing the position in the A team.
If he's not capable then fair enough but let's not hold him back just because he's young.
Murphy was different. He was in position surrounded by players out of position. That's a hard debut.

Kay has played full back and stand off previously. And Crowther has played at hooker more than Kay. Just going by the friendlies, I wouldn’t say Butterworth is anywhere near ready yet.

He played half back against hull kr last week robbie mann was fullback and jat hartley was often full back last season in under 19s.now im not putting the kid down and im all for giving kids ago when ready but is he ready esp out of his main postion i havent really seen him play so its not right for me to comment but for this id go for experience esp in such a hard postion
