Disagree - I don't think Wakey fans expect top 8 or 4. We expect a relegation dog fight and for that reason alone expect a performance way above what we got against one of our relegation rivals.
The thread is about the coach and if he cannot pick / plan / organise the team to perform better than that (even considering all the problems) then hes not the man for the job.

Bit unfair on Peter Roe. He had to coach with both hands tied behind his back, with no money whilst being kicked in the nads. The bloke never stood a chance.

The point I was trying to make, was that, given our lowly status, who would want the job and that we are just as likely to end up with someone worse, as we would be with someone better.
Harbin did a great job, as did John Kear (someone I think could still do a decent job with the squad that we have).

Hrbin was a horrible coach but great at PR hence the rosy opinions of him, remember some time back someone posted that he presided over the longest losing run in the clubs history.

And didn't Agar preside over the longest winning run?

Any change would be a gamble, after two games I think it's an unnecessary one.

thought i was the nutter on here, and who pays his contract up, is it Agars fault that players drop the ball miss tackles give silly pens away. I can see him now in the dressing room right lads go out there drop the ball, give pens away and miss tackles, not Agars fault we play dum rugby

Whilst the coach can't legislate for one off performances of Thursdays nature, he does have some responsibility for making sure that we don't keep seeing the same week in week out.
