The simplistic way to look at it is this agent X111 asked question a numbers of people ridicule this ....revert to name calling and miss the point of the argument.

Nothing done in the last three months to put to us the fans what we can do ?

We have had Elston and Glover leave but not under a shadow ..a glowing tribute! if you look at the press releases the club put out?

Yet if you believe what the posters, and general opinion on here are saying and messages coming out of the club how can that be the honest approach,
that the club would have us believe it is now portraying?

I think most people come on with good faith to try and be constructive and have the club at the forefront of their minds but when will we get to a base starting point for us to begin the rebuild both the team and the perception of where we are going with our club?

As it been confirmed or denied Mellor’s as gone , Poore as agreed to join Hull KR  , Aiton is on his way to Leeds ,Kaye as gone to one of a few championship clubs , Smith is going to Newcastle RU .It seems to me (if opinions are still allowed on this forum without fear of been ridiculed) that K/H  as taken control of the player recruitment / retention business of the club . Those on contracts she sees as not value for money are being sold or paid off. Although I agree that something needed to be done its very strange with training due to start that only D Smith has been recruited , I hope it’s not a build up to us been told there is no alternative to us becoming the Rhinos Dual Reg Club.,

I tend to agree with most of your post, but, if Agentx111 was asking these questions in a pub I'd probably agree with most of his sentiments, but we aren't in a pub, we're on an open forum, we need as much positive publicity as possible, posting negatives all of the time does bring negativity with it, I'd prefer more positives if at all possible, it's sometimes best not to reply to some posts I find just so I'm not expanding the negatives.

I agree with every announcement that a top drawer player like Aiton/Poore/Lee Smith has been sold then there must be a bargain basement value type recruit coming the other way and being signed to not deflate the fans anymore than they already are and to keep the season ticket sales ticking over.

The club has SKY income to look forward to for the next 12 months at least and although the exact figure is not known
its most likely to be around £1M.

There will be gate money, match day income and sponsorship for a further full season. If we get relegated there will also be a parachute payment.

Although there are various outgoings, by far the greatest costs will be players wages. We are reducing them at a brisk rate and looking forward we could already be past a break even point. Reduce the wages even more and the club could make a tidy profit.

You're absolutely right! Ignoring the potential threat of relegation for the bottom two, which looks less and less likely to materialise given the hash the RFL have made of the whole process, we could end up in a decent 'rebuilding' position.

The club perhaps need to start talking about it in the way that you have, to get a bit of positivity out there amongst potential commercial partners and fans.

I may be wrong ,but as someone hinted on here, and I feared weeks ago, can't see a queue of players waiting for Wakefield to say right were ready to sign you ,Leeds feeder team we'll be and as I said and plenty more if that happens will say the same won't be watching them , don't give me that rubbish about supporting owt in the red white and blue

If being a Leeds feeder team keeps us up while we rebuild, then so be it. I will support anyone giving their best in RW and B next season.
