There is no doubt about it, we have our work cut out to remain in the top flight after next season but,
we have been written off more times than a Phil Mitchel motor and we are still here, still fighting and we will cause some upsets next season, like beating Catalan at their place 3 seasons back, or beating Wigan on their own turf with a patched up squad.
If you like a bit of adversity, Wakefield is the team to support !'"

Disagree, I would be more han happy if we signed PJ, did very well or us when he was with us last time and he is a solid SL level player that we should be aiming at to bolster the squad.
As for Tuson I am not surprised by his decision and I dont blame him at all and although i think he is a good player and will do well for Hull I think in our current predicament we need some numbers and we may be able to bring in 2 or 3 players for the wage we were going to pay tuson.

| I have to agree, no idea what he was on but he was clearly worth a fair bit so it's not a wild assumption

| How about if we change our kick off time to noon in winter think of the money we can save in electricity. We could ask the players to clean the showers when they have finished.
If we only have funds to run a 16 player team I guess they may be calling on the supporters to make the team numbers. The joke about if you turn up early you could get a shirt may come to fruition.
We are all they have other than the value of some of our playing staff.

| Don't think we are in a position to start signing players while they are still under contract. May ask for more than when they get released.
Wait to see who else gets released from others clubs.
Bradford, Salford and Hull maybe releasing some players, due to recruitment and bad form.
Sit tight and let's see what run up to Christmas brings.

They're just guests on the wedding invitation at the moment, but at least he knows he's getting a glass of champers and a dinner for turning up.

We have just released Paul Johnson to Widnes.
Think a couple more will follow, club needs a bit of a shake up.

I dont know what he would have been on but baring in mind he turned down an offer from wigan and also other clubs to sign for us I am guessing it will have been a fair whack.

| Good luck to the lad. We still got a fair bit of quality left if we can just duck and dive a bit and bag a few bargains, something we've a great record at doing we might surprise a few! Never used to be a fan of loans but our recent history with the likes of Kirmond and Amor speaks volumes and is surely the way to go...

| There's a fair chance that Hull will have got Tuson on a better deal than we had arranged .
On the basis that he wasn't needed by Wigan and then given the choice of playing in a "makeshift" Wakefield side or going to a "big" club like Hull, he may have accepted a little less remuneration but, with better long term prospects.
Equally, was Tuson a "Marque" signing for us or, more of an up and coming player.
I don't think he's quite in the Sam Tomkins category.

Also you've got to bear in mind James Elston was probably negotiating the deal so it could've been inflated. One thought Trinity may have side stepped, if they agreed to pay one, the agents 'fee' now that he's gone to Hull (unless they got paid already!)
