From what i've seen of Lyne i've been very impressed. When he first signed i automatically saw him as back up for our threequarters but he's unfortunate that he picked up an injury as Smith would have struggled to displace him.

Agar will have selection headaches when all our centre's are fit because all three look exciting with ball in hand for different reasons.

Which one was that Kyle Wood or Chris Anekin

I didn't count Kyle Wood as he did he has played most of his rugby and development at other clubs.

Also last year Trout, Walshaw, Cowling, Kay made their SL debuts under Agar

My opinion of him certainly hasn't changed and he has no way proved me wrong yet, but thats for another thread at another time.

Getting out of Hull must have been the best thing that ever happened to RA; it rejuvenated him professionally and resulted in the opportunity to coach a national side.

Of France, previous held by the excellent coach of Bobby Goulding, did any other coach want it?

The fact that Steve McNamara coaches England says it all about the international game and the standards of he coaches.

Can't argue with that.

I think it's widely accepted that the role is something of an honorary thing, but another young, English coach active on the international scene can only be a good thing; unless you're from Hull of course, in which case, Agar out.
