We showed in the 1st we can compete and the defence in the 2nd showed it's not fitness. For me it's poor tactics, lack of motivation and belief installed from the top.

trinity played well in patches and wigan seemed to ease off a bit in 2nd half. match was a lot closer than score suggests and we had some better attacking options than last few weeks.

Mr Alibert was particularly harsh against us and penalised us a lot for what wigan werew getting away with, in particular contact to the head.

overall was pleased with effort but dissapointed with result which slightly flattered the pies

Went to the game tonight. The lads played with a lot more commitment. Very frustrating as Wigan weren't square at the play the ball all night. A lot of head highs were also unpunished, but Alibert managed to see ours. Tompkins obviously heard about Broadbent last week as he turned round in 2nd half and told the Wakey fans to 'f... off'.

Play like that against the Crusaders and we're in with a chance. Murphy went off with an arm injury, wondered if its broken and Korki spent a long time laid out with an injury, looked like concussion. These 2 will be badly missed if they are out next game.

Too much dropped ball on the first tackle tonight one reason we got beat the other reason is we were playing the defending champions and a team that are top again this year and thats no fluke. At times its like they were playing a different game to us.

I went over last night and I must say that I came away from the ground feeling proud of the players because the effort that was there earlier in the season returned last night.

I think it was a very even game if you take the first 5 and last 8 of the first half away it was 12-6.

I was pleased with our goaline defence which was strong and also we looked ok in attack and I think I am right in saying we were held up 4 times and if Frankie or Semi had scored when they had opportunities when the score was 12-6 the score will have been closer and would have shown a fairer reflection of the game.
