You must have been watching a different game to us then ....it was the backs that didn't make any ground on the first 3 hit-ups...it was only when the forwards took it up that we did make ground !!

Youd expect them to make the tackle though it was only a simple hit up

That is exactly what we want them to do that’s why they’re called forwards just run hard and straight, we’ve too much reliance on the backs to take it up they should be the finishers not battering rams

That was the best Kopzcak has played for us I reckon, thought he was superb.

theres no point getting a bloke like him passing round the back just do what he’s good at hard and straight and the rest hard and straight it’s a simple game

We've been doing that for as long as I can remember, we had Fox and Cockayne every first and second play in our own half without fail. It only works if you are playing the ball on the front foot (I get that they want to spread out some of the forwards' work) but if you aren't then it's a waste of time they just fail to gain ground. Senior in particular got frequently pushed back to gain no metres and then you're in your own 10 with 2 and 3 tackles gone.
