nowt to do with that mate..he hasn't played rl before..under 13's are desperate to increase to 2 teams and this kid was told to go to 13's..his mum is now very pleased where he is..and so are we!! personal ego somewhere???

My son plays for a new team at Stanley U13's - they have some places left - I mentioned it here in case anyone had a son who might fancy a go; a perfectly innocent comment.

I'm neither involved nor interested in the politics and inter-club bickering that goes in in junior rugby, ta very much.

Seem to remember us doing ok against stanley last year & we were all set to play the semi final last week 'till Stanley pulled out the day before - we could of claimed the game by the way but didn't , so there you go .

neither am i...my mates son has moved to stanley 13's this season and i also know another couple who are considering moving from where they are now..no bickering bren2k just the fact that when a kid approaches he is advised to move to over age when the 12's need players ..

yes I know about the second team and who is coaching.
if the lad has never played before then that's understandable he could do with a year at his own age level but like my lad his birth date puts him in the under 14s but you would think he is an under 15s size wise.
doubt its all to do with personnel egos rather than getting a second team up and running which has got to be a good thing for the club in general

not many clubs can boast two years having two teams in that year, its all good for the Wakey /cas / Leeds pro teams to have more selection

When you said BOTH teams I thought you were on about us against Cas Panthers today .
Hope that Stanley 12's are gonna be ok - we got dropped to div 2 a couple of years back without reason & ended up hammering everyone and losing 6 months of improvement playing wise .
If you want to find me in December you won't miss me , I'll be stood at the side of the pitch wearing a ridiculously oversized orange bib ! ( & we can have a drink after if you fancy it ?)

you must be talking about a different crigg as crigg did not go , as far as i know due to stanley having poor number cas had to split its team into two and at a guess i would think a coach like the one i saw speak yesterday would not of had a team of superstars and a team of lambs to the slaughter. you seem quite bitter at your division 2 status maybe less cancellations and more action on the park will see you back in the top flight.
