| Quote PopTart="PopTart"I'm not blinkered to CC. I seem to be blinkered to the putting people off bit.
There is a lot of talk but so far numbers don't seem to be down as we are restricted anyway.
I can't see it being a big crowd v Warrington, though I'll be there, but a good performance will soon change minds short term.
So I just feel like the world is going to end brigade are quoting facts that haven't actually happened yet.
Not saying they are wrong, but it's not as simple as changing Chester will make the world beautiful again.'"
When we lost in the past, on a Monday I'd be saying that I'd never go again but by Wednesday I was coming round and by Friday couldn't wait to go to the game, because at that time you knew if you didn't go, you'd miss the team bounce back.
Sadly not anymore, it doesn't hurt anymore and has someone else mentioned, it's now 'accepted' that we're going to lose and some are happy if we get 'close'.
Well if that's the mindset running through the club we are doomed!

| Quote PopTart="PopTart"But for me,
I don't know anyone who isn't going now..... But I'm sure some will stop.
I certainly haven't seen anything official about a new contract for Chester, just hearsay
As I've said over and over, I'm not blindly backing Chester. I can't see how he can continue personally, but too many people are throwing facts around that are just plainly not true.
It gets in the way of understanding what is going on.
I don't know Carter well but he doesn't strike me as someone too soft to sack someone. It's Scarlett that has generated that myth just because that's what he does.'"
That's exactly what he does but for some reason, some on here give the snide some creedence.
The way I look at it is this.
It doesn't need to get personal and the finger of blame doesn't need to get pointed at one person.
It's a relationship that appears to have run its course. We've all had them, people we once felt a passion for now, leave us cold. No one is really to blame, the chemistry has just gone.
Why? Who knows, certainly not Scarlett or those with a vested interest like Mopsey. The relationship between coach and players appears to have broken down irrevocably and for me, a separation now appears inevitable.
Might as well do it now and get it over with and give the new bloke a fighting chance.

Tell me a coach he has sacked, he released two players for breaking the law but all coaches under his leadership have resigned. They at least had some scruples sadly the current incumbent does not.

Twisting again.
They went before they were pushed and you know it. Do you really think they would have gone if they didn't know what was coming, give it a rest.

Not sure about Webster but Carter tried to convince Agar to stay but he told him he had already made his mind up, just like he has done successfully with Chester when he has tried to hand his notice in last year, Carter wanted it known at the time Agar went that the club had not forced him out the door.

| I think its probably worth noting as well at this point, Carter has said he will not sack Chester, that`s when we was 2 wins out of 15, said he would give him time to turn it around, how much time does he get?
Isn`t it funny how Chester throws his players under the bus with "Some of these players just aren’t good enough"
Yet, got so upset about this "Personal attack" from an anonymous player last year:
“He just doesn’t do anything properly or with any thought or planning. It would only be obvious if you had played under a really good coach, then it stands out like a sore thumb just how weak he is on the absolute basics.”
A year today that comment was made, it makes a lot of sense when you look at our performances.

I think back when Carter made the comment, we were going through a rough patch with injuries but decent performances weren't that far back in time. Now, since Brough was injured and Kear left, we have a much longer period of poor play. I'd like to think the same wouldn't apply.
We have an ageing, disinterested squad. The problem Chester might have now is that he is slating the players publicly and perhaps the players don't have much respect for him, if the anonymous player was speaking the truth. So, we have a coach struggling to get a performance out of players who don't have any respect for the coach. That is an impossible situation.
Clubs like ours need everyone on the same page, as the players, by signing for us, know they are giving up any real prospect of silverware and will train and play in poor facilities. All they have, in reality, is a decent bond as a group. If that goes, there's nothing in it for the players anymore, other than the thought of not getting another top flight job.

| Chester should have been sacked after the Hull KR away loss at the start of the 2019 season, it was obvious then that he was out of his depth.

| Have supported the club for 58 years and would arrange holidays round fixtures. I missed yesterdays game and have no desire to go back again until things change, ie a different coach and players who show guts and passion, even if they lose it's better than what we have now.

The world certainly doesn't revolve around CC's contract, but unfortunately the future of Wakefield Trinity DOES!!!

The hull kr away loss was start of the 2020 season, the 2019 first game loss was London away but after that we started to get some wins until we played that fateful game at home to Wigan when we started to pick up the really serious injuries upto that point we was 4th in table then it all went downhill.
As for the hull kr loss at start of 2020 I said then that we should give it a couple of games if results don't improve we should get rid and try and start a fresh and give the new coach plenty of time to try and turn things around
