We're actively looking, we're not going to rush into anything. If it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, it doesn't, we go to our next target.
"I think there's a lot of upheaval at the minute in the NRL, a lot of players being moved from club to club. We will sit patiently and see what happens over the next couple of weeks."

Just been reading that Hull KR hooker George Lawler could well be moving on.
Only 25, so plenty of years left in him.
He has bulked up a bit, but is still pretty quick, but he’s probably more suited there than Jordy

This is the problem at Wakefield, For the last 2years we have been buying cast of from other clubs who can not make it in S L. .Think the table shows what good it as done . |

Milner and Lawler both well past their best and probably now ready for championship. Hopefully we can avoid all three items. Lawler is right up there with Liam Kay in the shocking haircut category too,

Lawler passed his best at 25? Not sure about that! He’s a pretty decent player to be fair and has plenty of improvement still in him. He does have suspect hair though. Milner i agree with and for me his best was always over-rated. |

To be fair on Milner he did once make a match saving tackle. 
Can't think of anything for Lawler. Have I mentioned his haircut?

Just when you thought our recruitment philosophy could get any worse we propose signing Milner. What worries me is who thought they would need him in the Wakefield squad for next season, the club or Chester. If it is the latter which you would expect then this suggests he is being given an extended contract.

My major worry is that Milner would effectively be taking up Crowthers spot, a loose forward who can cover hooker if he absolutely has to. Crowther is out of contract….
