| I do not give too hoots about Cas. They have a future don't worry about that, as long as Box is in their corner he will see they are OK. There is no way we should be forced to move out of the City just to make it a little easier for Box to finance a stadium in Castleford.
You can dream all you want, but I can tell you there is no way Cas will leave Cas !

| Not that it will make any difference to the decision makers but if we go to Dewsbury I'm as likely as not finished with Trinity, the quickest route is 13 miles each way, if we move out to Dewsbury the club will alienate a good number of speccis. From Normy we've been known to take three buses to away matches in the not too distant past.

| Cannot understand the selfish attitude of those who would be finished with Trinity if they had to travel a bit.For loads of us on the west side of Wakefield we already do the travelling. Dewsbury for me loads nearer than Belle Vue.
I assume these totally selfish people would also not travel to Newmarket.
Not true supporters.

With respect mate we are not in the same situation. We still own our own ground.

Is that aimed at me? I was giving my own opinion, we travel four miles each way for every home game and have done for forty years, not bad for someone that's not a true supporter. My finances are limited so sticking a thirteen mile taxi ride each way would stretch my finances even more. Our match day is a social event, we like a beer during the game then a couple after, a return taxi would be between £40 & £50. Not for me, I'll leave that to you TRUE supporters.

It's got absolutely nothing to do with being selfish!
Many supporters would be prepared to go to Owl Lane on a temporary basis, or any other ground, within reason, for that matter; BUT, if it's a move there without a certain return within the city, then it would be a no go because it would be the demise of the club.
I support WT because the club is in Wakefield. Anywhere else won't do.

| Weren't a lot in favour if the proposed site we had in Ossett a few years back.
Not really that far away from there to Owl Lane.
By the way, in the way of mentioning taxis to and from games, it's something like £4.70 for a West Yorkshire day ticket with Arriva.

Obviously there is a saving in rent bey owning your ground but, has this helped very much ? and are there any debts, loans etc secured against it, which will reduce it's net worth.

Thornes Park would still be good and with the athletics track already there, it could become a focal point for sporting excellence in the city ?
Balne Lane is probably the worst of all locations, with horrendus access issues (apart from proximity to town centre).
It will make getting out of the Salford ground look like a fun day out
It would be handy for me though

Unfortunately it looks like Balne Lane has gone quiet so was probably (as said by many on here) a slowing down muddy the water tactic by our inept council. Location wise though I thought it was as brilliant, walking distance for many and plenty of parking in City centre + bus and train station near by increasing footfall in our wonderful city on a Sunday afternoon Fri night which would fit into City Centre development strategy, increasing usage of City centre which many councils are implementing. Unfortunately our council are that backward it won’t happen, can still dream though.

| I like a beer or five Jinjer, thus I travel on two buses to and from the game. Obviously that you are not prepared to do. As for out of the city , Dewsbury’s ground is about 100 metres outside the boundary.
I actually always thought Normanton area a good location for the ground.
I would travel there, rather than not go to games.
You certainly are not going to please everyone wherever, if ever, we relocate.
