In our 20 and 2 fc markers yards apart offside. No penalty. On hulls return set they get a penalty for not square in their 20.

The kick through that was played at by hull player on 5th tackle and ended up in Wakey hands. Ref raided hand and waves a little then stops after tackle and says oops was the 5th tackle.

All that said hull won majority of the collision and energy contest.

be thankfull that roby and his TJs' were only interested in fcs' forwrad passes as he pulled us back 3 or 4 times to prevent us scoring, correctly too, unlike wakey who were allowed to get away with the same number! you were your own worst enemies tonight, not the ref, the possession you had should have turned into points, credit fcs'defence and poor options from your players, you must've been caught 4 or 5 times on the last tackle with ball in hand still!

Why would forward passes be any different to the high tackles, holding down, offsides, markers being stood wherever they like?

He basically had no more idea what was happening on that field than the girl selling the hotdogs.

But otherwise you are absolutely correct that our options with ball in hand were very poor and one dimensional.

your right he didnt, he let wakefield get away with all the above that you stated, the penalty count mustve been high in wakefields favour! if you think fc were guilty of all that and wakey werent, maybe you should spend less time talking to the girl selling hotdogs

I did credit hull, there defence was good. Our attacking options were poor through our own players fault tonight.

As I said hull won the majority of the collisions.

Forgive me for not focussing on hull fc more than my own teams performance but I am a wakefield fan after all.

That's my point the possession we had in spells was wasted through poor options and banging it up the centre field and inside balls. A true defending teams dream!

We commented tonight that you could tell who coached Wakefield one dimensional, you play exactly the way we used to play.

But that's just it, we don't play like that at all. We have been playing entertaining rugby in attack for the most part.

Wasn't evident today. Whether its the coaches tactics or players at fault it didn't work.

Never in the game, shame for the fans who travelled over to be let down like this.

I'm not for one minute blaming the ref for that defeat but that was one of the most inept displays of officiating a game that I've seen for years.

Clearly mr Roby is way out of his depth in this standard of Rugby League.

A shambolic performance by WTW, topped off by Mr Roby's total inability to control the game - I want my money back.
