What's worrying is we seem to be going even further backwards as the season progresses.

In the first game we scored 24 points

In the subsequent 8 games we have only scored 23 points

That Applegarth still thinks he is the right person for the job shows that he clearly isn't

23 in 8 means a unconverted try, or a penalty and a drop goal in 80 minutes beats us....

And in 5 of those 9 a drop goal beats us

Still don't understand why Pochiing and Cummings were sacked. Although they were never going to get us in the play offs at least there was some structure to the play.

The Toulouse Magic game showed Poching for his ability when we bottled it and he couldnt work out how to change it, unfortunatly along with off field things not a single leader on the pitch, not a single player to organise. Morgan Smith may as well have been a turnstile operator with his 'attempts' (and thats generous) to tackle. Lino is trying to do everything which in turn causes him to make more mistakes (and as he is the only one directing play he is hounded by the defence causing him to rush) everything is so pedestrian,

For me the structure we had was from seasoned players who knew the club you cant lose miller (he may have stayed too long but id have him back after seeing what i have this year), fifita, knew impact off the bench, now we have battye or atoni, arona nothing special but reliable now we have ashurst, pitts and crowther who couldnt pass a parcel and others. We have replaced them with championship/over the hill signings and unproven in SL imports. I like Proctor (and that isnt me defending him or swaying others opinions on him) and Lino but all i see is them being dragged down to the standard of the rest on the pitch. Put Lino in a team with quality around him and in my opinion he would shine.

Hood making a break yesterday, not a single wakefield player within 20m backing up for the pass/offload, Applegarth mentioned training in his post match, i dread to think what they do in training as in 9 Games nothing has changed, no structures have changed, we never look like scoring and its as soon as one is scored it turns to how many more. Do they not respect the coach? i dont know but it seems to me they dont and why would you when hes no previous experience?

We are averaging 5 points for and 30 against per game. The majority of our points came from the Catalan game. I dread to think what the against average will be after the next two games. In all aspects we are abysmal and despite what our coach keeps promising nothing is improving. I see he still believes he is the one to keep us in SL, I wouldn’t have a poll amongst the supporters.

We used to see planned moves from the scrum ( I know I am going along way back) to take advantage of more space in the opposition defence. Now it's alway one pass and a drive Same as a normal play the ball.

Or run across and end up being tackled in to touch which seems to happen more often than not
