He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy

| It is turning nasty now though, individual players getting booed, Proctor getting to to f off back home as hes jogging off the field. The stewards sensed it as they lined up in front of the North Stand towards the end of the games as though an invasion was on the cards.

Would not have been much of an invasion as most of the Trin fans had walked out well before that.

| It’s hard not to feel emotional about the current mess… but the reality is that the club has to be managed… coached… sponsored and maintained…
Carter is leaving anyway… after a legacy of stabilising the club, this highlights the limits of his capability … if there was an obvious replacement I think he would be gone already!
Minnards is a businessman and has done a superb job in wrangling the funding package for stadium development… that’s what he should be doing for the club!
It’s now patently obvious that Applegarth and Ford are completely out of their depth… it’s like watching a frog in a slowly boiling pan of water…
What happens now… ??? I don’t have a clue… but it makes me very sad!

What a brilliant, thoughtful suggestion, I look forward to your announcement of buying out the shareholders and putting your money into the club, if only

| Sad thing is that we will have to sit through remainder of season getting hammered with no prospect of a win.
And I actually think that the team we’ve put out is designed to do exactly that.
Funny thing is when we go bust at year end which we will do suddenly all will become clear

Does buying merchandise and tickets not count as putting money into the club?

| Never mind Carter n Minards that was an embarrassing performance by the whole team , they are professional players yet were outgunned /outplayed and out performed, by a team who looked on a different level , and I didn’t see a Carter or Minards missing tackles as far as I could see ,or failing to score yet again, that is down to the players and as such should hold their heads in shame This is a weak squad but they are payed professionals as as such must shoulder the blame as well for this dire performance.

| It's hard to believe that Carter has actually got any of his personal money tied up in the club, because if he did have, he'd have invested in the squad so that he could secure the highest level of investment as his replacement thereby securing his own money.
This team now looks very much like he's already pulled out whatever money he did have tied to the club, leaving us with a threadbare squad, low quality coaches, and no prospect of any significant signings.
I do worry that this might not just be our last season in the Super League, but could be our last season as a professional sports club. We are now in a worse position than we have been under any other owners in the super league era

| You don't actually have to sit through the rest of the season, and Dunkirk please don't fall in to the trap of suggesting that anyone who disagree s with the present owners should put their own money in.
Its the supporters job to support the club and disagree when they want to
Its the owners job /responsibility to provide a club that can complete, the owners have fallen well short in their duty ans don't seem to offer any part in the plight the clubs finds itself in.
I think Carter's had an easy ride over the past 4 plus years, I await the blow smokers response.

as Marc Bolan wrote…’ life’s an elevator… it goes up and down’
Carter introduced systems , processes and a culture that stabilised a business that had rapidly fallen out of control…ultimately, the debt associated with buying the ground was based on sound economics.. and sustainable. The ground redevelopments were out-with that.
However, even the simplest MBA principles speak to the conflict between administrators and entrepreneurs… so is Carter to blame because he is an administrator and not an entrepreneur?? Is Minnards to blame because he only has the skills which created an outcome of ground redevelopment that most fans had dismissed as fantasy???… when pushed to lead I believe they have done the best they could… with the skills they have.. this is not soccer where club owners are queuing at the door waiting for an opportunity.
so yes… I suppose it depends on one’s point of view!
It seems the decisions to appoint Applegarth and Ford were poor ones… possibly made by people who were ill-equipped to make them… we are all one decision from failure (or success… depending on your luck)

For God's sake! Who on earth do you think put together this poor squad and coaching team? Carter and Minnards bear FULL responsibility for this complete and utter show
