| Just one point - I wish people would stop saying we won't go down. The fact that Toulouse are actively strengthening, and it's hard to see where our next win is coming from, seems to point to the opposite.Personally I don't think we will, but that's probably more to do with me being optimistic re everything Trinity.

He is averaging around 20 mins a game for Cronulla because that is all he can do anymore. Whilst its a nice thought we need more from someone who would be one of our highest earning players than 20 mins a week. We are not a club that can carry luxury players.'"
Nail on the head. We seem to have been chasing this pipe dream now for about 2 seasons. Wonder how many younger and fitter props we could have potentially signed, had we have not deluded ourselves to this.
We need to move on

His agent is touting him as a half back so Warrington spunk half their cap on him as that’s the wolfs remit for signings.
Dufty next lmao

His he anymore shot than Johnstone with his ongoing concussion worries and his two ACL constructions , and his recent mysterious injuries that even the coach doesn’t know what it is . I’m sure if there was a chance he was coming over to play at the club there would be a rigorous medical exam to pass long before he ever signed on the dotted line .

| 20 min in the NRL is very different to 20 min in SL, and having him coming off the bench as an impact prop would be a game changer

| The fact he’s still in the starting 17 of a very good sharks team is positive. The world class Fifita of 4/5 years ago is long gone but I think he’d still be pretty good over here.

He would be a quality signing.

| 1 tail trying to wag the dog is bad enough.
We don’t need 2 tails.

How many concussion problems has TJ had this year?
And while you’re at it how many problems linked to those ACL’s has he has in the last couple of seasons?
Just as a point of note when Wigan signed George Burgess he had one of those overseas rigorous medicals as well apparently. He limped through 7 games all season. There are other examples. But if we want to pay a minimum 125K for 20 mins 3 times a month then yeah lets go for it.

| ok I'm a sharks tragic... ever since moving to Aus in 2008... and I think Andrew Fifita is a god ... he's a far better and stronger player than Dave... even this year the sharks have looked stronger with him on the field. Yes he's carrying injuries (who isn't) but he would be a sensation on the field and off it for a season at Trinity.
another more Trinity type signing is Royce Hunt
size and aggression is lacking having middles Fifita x 2 Hunt Butler Eseh Shaw and Aydinwoukd really give an opposition defence some worries.
