Interesting how you jump to a negative conclusion.
I suspect that the One World Travel have donated the Away shirt to the Hospice and this will be linked with some fundraising this season. Just a thought

| Presumably the green is to reflect the Greenbelt utilised at our expense

Oh, that's good!
Away shirts are meant to be different. Seen worse, and it'll look just grand crossing a try line at various places in the north.

If that’s what’s happened then why not report it and show the club and sponsors in a positive light?
Don’t you think it’s odd that’s not been mentioned?
Can see Box and his cronies writing the Express back page already...
Club that wants new stadium for next to nothing takes money from local charity in sponsorship deal.

There's only you who seems to be thinking that way - since when has Wakefield Hospice sponsored anything, why would they.
I don't know either way to be honest but it seems logical to me.

They don't as far as I know because they're a Charity. I imagine it'll be like you say, the main sponsor giving the away shirt naming rights to a good cause.
We've had a good association with the Hospice and they've been awarded a couple of our prediction Leagues over the last few years.
Anyway is that shirt black or a dark green, still can't tell even looking at bigger pictures.

| There’s only me that thinks what?
The media for the release of the new away shirt has no mention whatsoever of there being a special arrangement between the main sponsors and the club. That is a FACT.
Why not announce that the club will be working with Wakefield Hospice in the release? The club needs every bit of positive publicity it can get to gain support from the citizens of Wakefield.

| Looked yellow on the preview. It's different, almost like a Canberra away shirt. Certainly not the worst kit out this year.
On a side note, it's amazing how Wakefield Council gets a mention on a chuffin kit thread.

You'll need an even bigger spade to get out of that hole you're digging.
Maybe there will be a separate announcement regarding the sponsorship deal

I thought dark blue myself, nice top, wonder if it'd be better if the shorts were black/dark blue/dark green but nice non the less. Something different without going into the awfulness that is Wigan's away effort this year.

Ah, at least it's not just me that's not too sure about what colour it is. Agree though it is something different but still decent, without going ugly different, like say which is what Wigans' effort is this year.
