| Whilst I never like to see Wakefield Trinity lose a game I'm reasonably relaxed about these last seven games. We were never going to threaten the top four, we're busted with injured players but it's given CC the chance to take a look at some of the youngsters, youngsters who we'd all like to see 'make it' and form the basis of a team of mainly local (ish) lads who may bring future glories to the club.
This time last year we we're all crapping ourselves at the thought of the Middle Eights and the very real prospect of Championship rugby this year so lets not get too downbeat.

| Jordan was gutted he knocked on 2 or 3 times and he beats himself up over it but I spoke to him at home and tried to reassure him but to no avail, but Judah and James were a joy to watch and with Max & Jordan they were up against a star studded team and didn't look out of place. Well done to all

Jordan had a good game and to be honest a couple of the knock ons weren't his fault IMO, poor passes in very limited situations. Good to hear he hates making mistakes but definitely shouldn't beat himself up about it, we see this every week from seasoned players. Everyone of the youngsters did themselves proud and I for one can't wait to see more of them..

| Was delighted by the effort all the young players put in today. It was never going to be easy against a strong Warrington side. The young players should hold their heads high tonight.

Very well put.
I actually thought that it was the passing from our experienced half back that was tha cause of many of the dropped balls, theer were some awful passes given.
Really pleased for Judah to get a try and Bachelor doesn't look very far away from being a SL player.
Warrington at full strength and fighting for top spot in the league, were always going to be a tough opponent.
With Widnes not firing on all cylinders, there is a chance of victory next week and although we are short on bodies, this is the best chance we have to jump a spot in the league.
Let's keep supporting the boys and see if we can help get them over the line next week.
Great effort today and everyone will be stronger for it.

| Nothing but praise for all the young lads today. The look of pride on Mazive's face when he scored was a joy to behold. The big let down for me was Scruton. Don't think we've had our money's worth from him over the three seasons that we've had him.

| The execution was missing but what do you expect when we're so busted ? The effort was superb, even running to form a scrum in the last 5 minutes with the game gone.
Plus, the myopic refereeing was disgraceful. It wouldn't and shouldn't have changed the outcome but it would the scoreline and momentum which would have made an engaging game. Hicks was inept to the point of being creative in the ways to penalise us (the kickoff infringement at the end was I felt a churlish response to the crowds anger at him for not spotting the obvious obstruction in the wire try previously ) and clearly had two sets of rules for offside and the ruck ; one which applied to them and one to us.
Despite him, young lads showed heart and resilience against a team in a different pay scale and should be applauded for this.
I think they should hold their heads high after the shift they put in.

Apparently according to a friend on the radio they made a comment about the refereeing today. I thought his performance was disgraceful.

| I'm biased of course and we didn't help ourselves with errors but even taking that into account hicks was one sided and inconsistent to the point of suspicious.
I would never use the language and irate gentlemen was throwing at him stood in front of me but I shared his sentiment -
Miller copped some stick today but in fairness he was the only one trying to create something - I think one the one occasion when somebody else took over we threw an intercept try !!

Try taking a longer term view of the future potential being realised right now by our academy, it will prove to be the key factor in the future sucess of our great club. Oh, and bore off.

I said this as soon as Scruton signed for another club, if it wasn't for injuries I wouldn't have played him at all. The fella can have 1 good game and poor for the next 3. Overall his career at WT has been very patchy, more bad games than good. Not that fussed that he's going, all the best to him but not one to remember.
