=#FF0000M62 overnight, weekend closures J25-30
The Highways Agency will be installing 36 new gantries and refurbishing 16 existing gantries on the M62 motorway in West Yorkshire between junction 25 and junction 30 from March to November 2012. In order to carry out this work safely sections of the M62 will be closed, there will be 20 closures.
You can get off at 25 Brighouse and the matrix signs are saying its just closed between 25 and 26 this weekend. |

Working in Oldham and driving from Wakefield everyday its normally faster to drive through Dewsbury and Ravensthorpe though i am usually driving at rush hour, it is more or less a straight road from Dewsbury on Huddersfield road/ A644 and then on at Junction 25 hope this helps.

Don't talk to me about speed cameras on the M62!!! My Dad once got slippered for going 0.1 mph above the 50mph limit in my car! The rozzers were determined to do me for that even though i wasn't even driving the bloody car!!!! Justice when those cameras are concerned is merciless. Those camrras are only there to "protect" the "workforce" that invariably aren't on the carridgeway in the first place, GRRRRR!!!!!
Sorry for my Jeremy Clarkson-esque rant, folks. |
