One thing please kear do not sign him for next season please, we know you really really like him BUT he's not doing it for us.

Many people thought he was passed it before we signed him. Tonight has done nothing to disprove that. You'd have thought that playing in Hull with the crowd on his back, he'd be really up for it and trying his best to put one over on them. Sadly for us, and for him, I don't think there's owt left in him to do that.

One moment that said it all for me was, with about 5 mins to go, he picked up a loose ball deep in our own half. He had loads of space in front of him, but rather than run into it, draw the defenders, and then look for support, he dithered around, looking for the faster man on his shoulder straight away. Even if he'd hit the hole and taken the tackle, that would have been something. He's either not fit enough and not thinking fast enough, or he's nothing left to offer.

the problem is we don't have long left for the franchise application. If we carry on like we are we have no chance stadium or not. I am a long time trin supporter and I feel like not bothering. What do you think the new supporters will think travelling to hull and watching this shower. I can see our gates dropping to harlequins level. I will more than likely be there for the bradford match after the magic weekend (only cause I've payed upfront) but after that if we carry on like we are you can count me and the various 6-10 supporters I bring. New and old. I feel embarressed to wear the Wakefield shirt these days. And this cannot be good for the club. I don't know if we need a new coach to sort it out or what. have to agree with you all that he doesn't look bothered playing for Wakefield. I've seen Cooke rip teams apart while playing for both ourselves (he was outstanding in 2006) and also in the derby's for Rovers (he has never lost a Hull derby, for either side)

on his returns to the KC he usually has responded to the abuse by putting in a great performance, tonight he just didn't look interested

.....and his p*** poor performances in red and white and his whole attitude on the field for us speaks volumes

I think the word we're all looking for regarding Cooke tonight is 'aloof'.

I'm sure he's still got many a match winning performance in him, I'm just losing confidence that we're going to see it sometime soon. Tonight should have been his chance to show the league what he his capable of, instead it's just fueled the fire of wanting rid.

That was 5 years ago and he's been going downhill ever since.
