| So at this current point does Amor have a firm offer from both clubs from which he can make a decision...... I am assuming our current deal stands - or will we have the opportunity to make an improved offer ??
If Leeds come back with an improved offer at the end of the season - Amor will surely sign for them and we have the substantial risk of missing the boat on recruiting other prop(s)
Seems we are in a bit of a lose lose situation - unless Amor agrees to join us now.... if not we need to cut him free.. sad because he has been fantastic for us

| Surely the coaches and management at Trin are more astute than to just leave the Amore situation until the very last day before deciding what action to take to find a replacement
I would have thought that Kyle will make his intentions known to us quietly well before the official deadline thus allowing us to adjust our recruitment accordingly
Us fans might just be the last to know

And that is the point I was making earlier the fans should not be the last to know.
I feel the club are not handling this at all well.
One of the negatives amongst many positives.
I think he should be told by the club to make his mind up straight away, then all are comfortable with the situation.

| I really don't get some people's idea that this has been bad business by us, all that's changed is that it's become Amor's decision to make instead of Leeds. How have the club handled this badly, when it wasn't our call to make in the first place. We on here don't know what offers have made or what talks have been held between the parties, it's all too easy to say we should have told him to make his mind up etc from on a forum. Amor doesn't come over as the kind of guy that's going to mess anyone around and probably knows right now where he wants to play.

don't think it's bad business, just elston treating fans like muppets as we suspect the call has already been made by leeds.

OK point taken someone has to be the last to know.
I just feel that if the decision has already been made what is the point of keeping the fans in the dark.
If I was in Kyles shoes I would want it made public and just then concentrate on my game.
The cynic in me says if the choice is Wakefield it is pointless keeping everyone in the dark, but if it is Leeds I then see the point in temporarily appeasing the fans with this so called end of season decision.

| I think the decision on whether he is staying with us or going back to the Rhinos has already been made and all parties know that decision. I believe the announcement is being held back until Leeds and ourselves are happy to make it public.
Don't see it as a problem as we will be able to plan for next season in the knowledge that we will know whether Kyle is with us or Leeds next season.

| If it is Amor’s decision to make, then surely this means Leeds want him, which kind of points to the fact he will go back there. I’m sure should he still not feature in theie plans in the near future, then another loan spell may be an option.

| My concern is that if he is going back to Leeds then announcing it now is not good. Fans may not be quite as gracious to him if they know he is not here next year. Some may interpret it as though he would rather not be here.
If he wanted to stay at Wakefield then announcing it now will not do any harm to his standing with Wakefield fans, only enhance it. To be fair if he said he was staying here it would be no skin off the nose of Leeds fans. If he said now he was playing at Leeds next year people may question his committment and wonder why he is being picked if he is not part of the future development of the team.
Whilst this is all conjecture, my instinct is that no announcement now is probably political rather than indecisive.
The alternative is that his agent can't agree a deal yet with either club.
Who knows?

| isn't this all simple- Kyle wants to concentrate on what he's good at and that's rugby. He'll make his mind up on whether he wants to be a bit player for leeds or a regular for the Mighty Trin at the end of the season. Until then we should support him and make sure he knows what a fantastic club we are and that he can have a huge part in our future. Lets hope the club get a couple of top class props on board for kyle to see who he'll be working with and hope he signs.
