And..I have to say after just reading the BBC account, Tony Smith could have pulled the Riley can't play card..is that correct? If so, amazing Sportsmanship and I have my faith in our sport and sport in general being turned in the direction of restoration. GREAT performance today. Warrington is probably one of the hardest places to go and win so we should appreciate what a result like that means. And so many good comments from Wires fans. I love RL for the most part!

I have to say as a supporter of our club and a begrudging closet fan of the game, tony smith seems to be a "good egg."
Something I thought was lost to the game (or at least a myth) overall.
Sorry it bit him on the ass (if it did) but better to have an ass than no ass.

We sure do though he couldn't have picked a better place to book his ticket home, obviously..unless he prefers us as home, which I would love. Always rated him and could see him growing as his fitness returned, plus like so many, once Agar was gone, we began to see their quality return to it's actual level.

True Sportsmanship and if we can't produce a miracle and blast our way through the play offs, I know who I'll be cheering for now!

If you remember, Smith was very supportive of us when we were struggling for players in the financial difficult times.
Sent us loan players and pushed other clubs to do the same and openly criticised the clubs trying to get our players cheap.

If I remember right Tony Smith was the first person to say he'd help out with loan players in the administration season of 2011.

Looks like its going to be a interesting game next week especially with your recent form.

Our first victory over Warrington for six years!

I was definitely in the “No chance of the top eight” camp, and to be honest I still think it’s too little too late, however, so much has changed over the last few weeks even I (the biggest pessimist in Christendom) can’t rule it out.

It doesn’t seem two minutes since we capitulated to Bradford, yet here we are safe & sound, with even a sniff at the play-offs.

I’m so grateful that Agar decided that he was better than the club, because it he’d still been here we’d have been doomed.

My wife is ambivalent towards my “first love” but whenever I tell her the end is nigh she just smiles & says they’ll scrape through, they always do.

Unfortunately, when I ask if I’ll ever see them win a major trophy, the answer is always a big fat no .
