I'd guess this will actually go to Ben as his incentive to leave and get him off the payrole. Everyone is eligable for a voluntary leavers package of up to £30000 tax free.

I like Cockayne, always enthusiastic and provides good go forward. But we all know he's quite suspect in defence, would have liked him to stay but it's not a massive loss

Was very good in the early part of the season, but seems to have slowly regressed towards the back end. One things for sure though, he gives it 100% every time he pulls on the shirt, and that can't be said for everybody. I didn't want him to sign for us at all and was sad he had at the time, given his off field 'baggage', but he seems to be a reformed character and I am pleased to have been proved wrong.

Would have preferred to keep him, but that's obviously not on the cards.

This could all change though. Maybe a little optimistic, but look at Salford. This time 10 months ago, in far worse bother than us, to today holding a press conference to announce 12 new signings including Chase, Hock, Smith etc

Lets look at the current Salford situation they are fighting to avoid the wooden spoon. The only penalty this season is embarrassment. The problem next season is relegation which will result in the sale of more players, less money etc.
