Because he is a good centre who's only going to get better. He showed against Huddersfield what he can do. He has been left exposed by his wing man on a number of occasions which has left him looking stupid, but in a better side his ability will shine through.

What we need to consider is George on the wing defensivley is shocking but at hes very good and give a good run injury free could perhaps give us a future england paring in smurph and george. Mellars could be the strong winger every team seems to have these days. A strong winger then a skinny lightening fast 1 which we have in morton and johnson with Mr crusader griffin as back up to mellars?

Saw a bit of Maloney on NRL fulltime last week and he looked very good and from memory was heavily involved in a couple of Warriors tries. From the little i saw he looked like a good pivot. He will do .

That aside, you can have all the talent in the world but if you are rarely on the pitch to realise the potential, what is the point? For what it is worth I would like to keep Luke George but not for him to play 8-10games a year.
