| I said very similar back in the pub last night, I can't remember the last time I came away from a game.
1. Saying we deserved that win.
2. Saying I thought we were the better team.
3. Raving about a wingers try.
4. Every player gave us 100%.
And last but not least, we were entertaining.
A great start to Easter weekend.

I think you'll find there is a return for Kirmond, Moore and BJB as well which will help lift spirits, so i'm going for a narrow win for us.'"
Told you we'd win, oh ye of little faith on here. This Wakefield team ain't fantastic but isn't as bad as results have suggested. And huddersfield are a poor side, with precious little to offer except chucking it Brough and hoping for the best.
Reckon we'll do Leeds as well.

| Everything about yesterday's game was positive, we finally cut out those errors and daft penaltys which were killing us, this allowed us to compete. For the first time since HKR we were in the game at halftime, Huddersfield came back , but for me to then believe in ourselves and go on to win the game speaks volumes and Johnstone's try was icing on the cake, great game, well done lads. Brilliant!!

Chester has already said he needs some quality and is looking at bringing some in. Quality doesn't come cheap. So what's wrong with my statement ? The funds are obviously there or he wouldn't be looking, or am I missing something .

TBF we all thought that, I certainly did and I'm an eyes wide open optimist as a rule.

You do realise you've posted on a thread that says, 'fancy a win against Shudders' and you put we all thought we'd get hammered?! At least two others said we would sneak a win, I personally said we would run them close, mainly because of their defensive frailties so far this season, I was happily proved wrong that we didn't just run them close. You really need to read stuff properly on here before having a go at others so quickly. Just out of interest, in your own pre match prediction, you said it would be a fluke if we won, was it a fluke???

Well that's quite easy to say after we've won. And bar a few posters the majority on here thought so too - even some of the most optimistic ones only saw a Hudds win. And who can blame them! So Vastman and others (like me) were proven wrong, you should be more happy at the team actually being convincing winners against a team who very rarely had to get out of first gear to put 50 on us in the past.

| I wasn't 100% confident but I bet on a Wakefield win.
Unfortunately I bet on Johnstone to score first and Wakefield to win. That was 50-1
Never mind. Next time.

| When I saw the team sheets I thought they'd put 60 past us. Most pleasing aspect for me was the defence, for the first time in a while I was confident we weren't just seconds away from conceding. Jowitt, Johnstone, Moore and England were the stand outs for me, but I think Jon Molloy was a real unsung hero for us. It's not a player you notice, but just goes about doing the basics right every time he plays.

| The easiest prediction about Friday's game was some of the Hudds moaners would go away and whine about the 'terrible' view.
Funnily enough they are the only away supporters to constantly do this. Strange 'eh?

I must say it's not often I get it right but on this occasion I did excuse me if I gloat.

Yes I've already sated I was happy to be proven wrong that I said we would push them close. This is for Mr. vastman's 'benefit' in the fact that he needs to be brought down a peg or two on here, and get off his high horse just occasionally, because it seems to me he can dish it out but doesn't like getting it in return. If I was to point out all his hypocritical, contradictory, patronising and condescending garbage he has put on here, it would probably take me until Easter Sunday next year to do so. His 'knowledge' of RL is nowhere near as 'vast' as he would have you believe my friend.

So rubbishing our chances of winning on Friday, and tomorrow, and of keeping hold of Johnstone is being optimistic is it?! I'd hate to know your definition of pessimism?? Here endeth the lesson Mr. vastman, use it wisely and learn from your mistakes....ooops, beginning to sound like you now aren't I?!!
