| Thought the Bulls were poor. Discipline was poor they tried to disrupt the game. Thought the ref was poor and had we had a polished performance we could have had 60 plus but for poor players. That said we looked much better with the whole team putting a shift in

| On the whole a good evening.
A decent performance, apart from a few scrappy moments, and I agree, Bradforfd were quite niggly at times.
Thought the official opening and firework display was well presented.
Fire alarms too seem to work OK too, as they went off in the concourse just before 7.30 for a couple of minutes

| When we string together an 80 minute performance we will absolutely destroy a team.
Not sure if it’s a concentration issue but we seem content getting in a winning position and then taking our foot off the gas for periods.
Enjoyable night though overall couple of sloppy errors in defence but in reality we were always comfortable.
Lino is so much better as a runner than an organiser, and some of Walmselys effort areas in defence were outstanding but for me Max was MOTM again.

| @ricardo07 What's with leaving the 'dis this post' emoji' on my generally positive post, and no comment from yourself?
I've hardly said anything controversial while I'm on my way home. It was much better from us, we needed to cut out the errors especially unforced and we generally should have scored more in the 2nd half.
Lino really did step up for us tonight and deserved his MOTM, especially since he got a lot of stick after the poor performance last week.
Generally, from start to finish, the whole night was great from the fireworks, big attendance, The Big Bopper bar, etc.
What's with the y emoji, what's to dis about it exactly?

Agreed, probably Max was my MOTM then Lino (I’m critical of him so have to praise when he has good games) and Pratt was good.
Thought the forwards put in a real stint too to keep us rolling up field.
I’m not sure why officials seem to be hammering us with penalties. Seemingly for some trivial and minor offences. I’ve noticed a few teams trying to draw us into a niggly game and slowing play down. They’re seemingly allowed to do so and it appears to frustrate the trinity players.

| Quote: The Avenger "What a great opening night !
Massive crowd, stadium was rocking and didn’t even look like Belle Vue as we all know it
The fireworks and the soundtrack sending tingles down the spine of every supporter
A good solid win for the team with some stand out performances
Jowitt was superb throughout
Lino had his best game since tearing Warrington to shreds, credit to him for bouncing back.
The pack were on top almost all the match but for me Pitts was outstanding
Some tidying up to be done around our discipline but all in all what a great night'"
Spot on Avenger.

Dealt particularly well with Appo running at him. They tried that a few times and Lino took him down each time.

| I think we’re going to have to get used to the niggle this season in the championship..
The sides we come up against are going to use any and every advantage they can to try and slow us down..
This will come more to the fore when the grounds harden up and we get to play more open rugby…
Really enjoyed tonight.. off to a cracking start with a statement win..
Great crowd, making a great atmosphere
Really chuffed for Neil Fox tonight also.
Wow… it’s good to be a Wakefield Trinity fan at the moment….

That's the good side of him playing to his abilities but it leaves him open for criticism when he gets away from what he does best.
Fans can see that he's got the ability, they've done previously. He's got these quality halfback games in him if he keeps doing what he does best. Taking on the line, making quality passes, looking for the break and being solid in defence. It's when he gets away from what he's good at, it leaves him so open to criticism.

| TBH, I thought Griffin was MOTM.
Great tries and we missed him when he went off for his HIA.

| A good team performance tonight, but got drawn in to a niggling scrappy game for periods in the second half. The drive for the posts by Atoni was the springboard to Wakeys supremacy, very reminiscent of Bopper. Gale and Lino partnership was way too good for the Bulls, in both the line breaks and kicking. I think a sign of things to come was scoring the try right on half time, it oozed confidence.

| Great night last night, it all just felt so professional.
The East Stand looked amazing, the new Big Bopper bar was great, excellent service and no long queues.
Fireworks were sensational. It truly is the start of a bright new era.
Decent win in front of a big crowd. All in all a superb start to the season.

| A fairy tail first game really.
Several contenders for MOM I personally think Lino deserved it - his passing was superb and he shirks nothing in the tackle.
Needs to keep it up.
I can't see another championship team living with our forwards and that's despite lacking Boothroyd and Bain ( does that guy exist? )
Great start now let's get back to life at the bog at Featherstone next week.....
