I don't think they are forcing you to go.
I think that's a fair price to watch the favourites to win the Championship.
Still think they'd be better playing it elsewhere though.

| £10 a ticket x 1000 = £10,000 less costs then shared 50/50 between the clubs
What attendance do you think we’d get if it was at Belle Vue?
My guess is approx 5000 with a ticket price of say £16 = £80,000 less costs then shared 50/50
I’m going to be bold here, not arrogant but maybe tempting fate, they won’t beat us whether it’s played at Siddal or Belle Vue so why not make some money but more importantly give their players a great experience playing in front of a big crowd in a nice stadium.
Any way you look at it the decision to play at Siddal just doesn’t make sense

Completely agree.
An amateur club drawing a top club is always about the money and experience.
They have little chance of winning but if they did its only another chance to get a big club and money. They are not going to keep going. So take the money and invest in the club.

But it isn’t as bad as stated , there was a breakfast hut situated down the side of the car park last time I visited and plenty of room for more if they so desire . We will be their for a few hrs at the most , a cracking club run way better than ours was by the looks , but by the sounds of this chat ,Siddal is sounding more like a gulag than an amateur club . You know us British we like a good moan about anything and everything .if people aren’t happy with the situation stay away , they probably don’t want or need negative people at the club pulling it to bits , boy we’ve had enough over the years dragging our club through the mire ,but if you do go , I think you’ll find a hidden gem of a club

| Good on Siddal for wanting to stage the game. They must be buzzing about pulling a championship club at home. If the powers that be deem it to be safe then crack on. Been to Siddal loads and you can see why they are one of the best amateur clubs in the country. Don't get all the negativity towards them. Especially when our ground has been hanging on by a thread for ages. If the RFL deems it safe then all parties involved should be helping Siddal make it happen. It's a fantastic opportunity for a grassroots club to showcase themselves and make a few quid too.

There is no negativity towards them. Just concerns over viewing, safety, ticket availability, parking and provisions. These are all valid questions for supporters who want to go support their team.
It’s been deemed acceptable to meet these demands (well perhaps not demand if ticketing is limited). If it does and people have a great day out that’s brilliant and justifies the decision but if not and there’s issues it will look like a poor decision and something to learn from.

| Seems Siddals 8am ticket announcement was to say that tickets are available from Siddals Clubhouse doesnt mention anything for tickets for Wakefield so seemingly if you want to go you have to go to Siddal to purchase tickets.
Im sure the club may have some news to put out later regarding ticketing, but thats the stance so far
