Savelio is a big lad too. Add in Tumivave whos huge for a centre. They have some big bodies do Hull.
I applaud Kay playing wherever but he isn’t a 13. He was lacking last time he played there in physicality.

| Very poor today. They marked Gale out of the game and no one else seemed to stand up.
Typical Trin, just when things start looking good.

| I think we have gained an allergy of playing on grass since the hybrid pitch at home
saying that missed tackles galore in the middle should suggest an end to Kay at 13 but too much shuffling to make space for players who don't cover the positions needed absolutely nothing against kay or dagger but dagger was wasted on the bench and as soon as Langi injured he's playing centre where it was obvious he doesn't play well, and dropping a natural 9 is just ridiculous.
Don't fix what aint broken let them fight to be picked not just walk in because they're fit

| Not been to the match, but it sounds like a typical Trinity non performance. We get wins similar to Wire result and start getting a little excited, then back to earth with a bump.Don't know whether we will beat Cas or stay up, but boy, nothings easy where Trin are concerned.

Hopefully the new coach will have these smarts in their toolbox.

Correct: it’s changing the whole dynamic. So what’s your point?

| Typical Wakefield.
I can stand a defeat but that was a walloping not conducive with a team playing for their careers.
I’m back to ‘ don’t care’
That was a golden opportunity missed- again.

| It's one game. They haven't all just become bad players and coach over night.
No matter what the score we were going to have to beat Cas.
We were never going to win all our games to the end of the season. Keep your nerve and support the team.

Exactly this, they had the chance to go points off the bottom, or even have a respectable loss and stay off the bottom to give some confidence heading into Cas in two weeks, and they absolutely failed to do that, with yet another half of rugby passing without scoring a point - yet another Applegarth masterpiece

One game? You have a very short and selective memory PT.
Works both ways, they don’t just become great players and coach either after a win or 2, unfortunately after losing 15 games on the bounce you can’t expect people not to be a little short on patience when we put in such a dreadful performance, play like that against Cas and we’re handing it to them on a plate, big wake up call, which is probably what we needed tbh.
Still have faith in the team to keep us up but we have to start turning up consistently, it’s so frustrating.

This isn’t a glass half full outlook but your mantra is wrong
We are a bad team and the coach is bad, we haven’t just become a good team because of one good win
The facts, stats and results don’t lie we aren’t rooted to the bottom of the league for no reason.
If we’ve really turned a corner and the additions of Fifita & Gale have given us a lasting lift in team spirit and attacking structure rather than a paper thin veneer then we wouldn’t be getting smashed by Hull and Huddersfield.
We do need to beat Cas but we also need to win elsewhere because I don’t think one win will keep us off the bottom

| It wasn't just about us being poor, I think people are being a little unfair on Hull here, they smothered us and didn't let us play. They were the better side.

I also agree with that. People seem to think we became Penrith overnight and we let ourselves down if we lose.
We are changing slowly and have had some wins.
The team and the coach have developed over the season but let's be real. We are aiming for second from bottom and are coming from well behind to do it.
So no point getting all drama when we don't beat Huddersfield or Hull away.
We brush ourselves off, try again and supporters support them doing it.
