| Played well tonight Hall and Murphy got hammered. Poor end to the game spoilt again by the ref. Lino hit the post from the touch line just like Saints thoseisses were costly in the end. A great performance non the less many more positives and some young lads doing the business

| What did the referee give Hudds the final penalty for?
How the 'officials' missed the head shot on Corey Hall I'll never know.

Allegedly pulling a Huddersfield player utter joke of a penalty

Yes it was a tremendous night sadly spoiled by the man in the middle. Two minutes to full time, Giants awarded a penalty to level the score. Two minutes into extra time Giants awarded a penalty to win the game, another dubious decision just as Pitt’s was penalised v Leeds in front of our posts for Leeds to win, and we got an apology later when that ref admitted his mistake.
Tonight’ the Trinity fans were a credit to the club, turned out in big numbers and extremely vociferous, the players gave their all, and although I’m disappointed with the result, I’m extremely proud tonight to be a Trinity fan and o be associated with this club.

here here With him Kaye and Hood we have got hooker covered and the way Harry B is rapidly improving I think we have another cracking young player comming through. Think in a year or so he will be one of the best UK hookers in SL.

| The penalty Milky gave away to McQueen was a joke. Even McQueen looked embarrassed getting pushed over in the tackle.

Horrendous decision
Shudds player through his self to the floor like a wet haddock which ultimately gifted shudds the win
Despite that
An incredible finish to the season and couldn’t have enjoyed the game more
What a amazing atmosphere we created
Our fans are an absolute credit to the game

| I suppose the result in a way did not matter as we could not climb any higher unless there was a mighty scoreline on the Hull derby. So it would have been nice to see the Bopper knocking over the drop goal in the last minute, but really we had two more drives in the set of 6 and could have had a better chance of winning. But I won`t begrudge Dave leaving on that decision. Has his chip and take nearly paid off earlier in the half.
He will be a tough player to replace in the pack.

That's not actually true. The difference between us and Rovers was only 7 points. A win by us and a loss by them would have lifted us a position.
But that's old news now.
Happy that we ended up clear at 10th considering where we have been this year.
I look forward to next year now.

| Whats so incredibly pleasing about recent performance is our defence.
In 7 out of the last 8 we have only conceded 18 points or much less, whilst never being out of reach in any of those matches.
Carry that through to next season and we'll do ok.
O/T, was that rather ironically Aydin's first try?

Id go as far to say big Dave is irreplaceable , not just for his presence and lifting of the team when on the pitch but the interaction between him and the fans both on and off the field . Watched the game a long time and never seen anyone quite like him , ind don’t think I will again ,Yes arguably better players have graced our club but none that was so rounded in all departments .He’s an anomaly in a game where all the fun and laughter is often trained out of players to a point where they are almost robotic , but big dave stuck to his guns and we are all thankful for that, and for his time with us

Absolutely agree.
Difficult to replace the player. Impossible to replace the man.

He spent more than half of it playing prop which is one reason. Glad he’s back at second row where he belongs. It’s not that he can’t play in the middle, he’s just more effective on the edges in the second row.
I’m happy with Ashurst and Tanginoa as next years second row forwards.

Think you could see that next year, was talking to W Poaching at fans forum and ask why Tanginoa was playing at prop, W Poaching said it was down to a shortage of props but hopefully he would be back there at back end of season
