| MC has done the right thing. He had no option anyway . Hope Dave sees sense . He needs to swollow his pride apologise to MC CC ,the rest of the team and the supporters and start towing the line off the field and start breaking the opposition line on the field.

| Could be just purely Dave doesn’t want to wear the sensors for his own reasons
Everyone in life has there own quirks and opinions through there own life experiences
Let’s see how things go in the coming weeks with him
Hopefully this will resolve its self
We need Dave
He’s a class player
I also feel he needs Wakey too
He’s got a place where he fits in and is loved
Hopefully this will blow over

| Quote: Egg Banjo "That's been obvious since the first game back when the players decided not to kneel with him. Why would you want to play for a team which hasn't got your back?'"
.
They didn't decide not to kneel with 'him', they agreed to stand united. He put himself on the outside not the other way around. The rest of the squad took advice and also decided to stand for many reasons, one of which was because of the backlash Israel Folau got for not kneeling because of his religious beliefs, as there are some members of our squad who don't kneel to anyone except their god.
To flip your ridiculous post.
Why would they want a team mate who doesn't stand united with them?

| That is the question if he wants away why now when we can demand a fee unless we take our usual line of if a player does not want to play we let them go.
I wonder how you would feel if this was Johnson for example. If Fifita is causing a problem then I guess nothing further will follow if not then we can probably expect more to follow suit. I guess for balance we should hear from Fifita.
I hope we are not regressing to the Webster era because we could get by with a poor squad due to the fact of how relegation was decided, next season we will not have this luxury.

| I can't see any team paying a fee for anyone in the current climate.

Dave Fafita was the best prop SL, and a player that every SL club would have gladly had in their colours. The problem for him is that my comments are past tense.
When I've seen him, which won't be as often as any of you folk, he's been nowhere near fit. I cannot recall watching a fit and firing on all cylinders Dave Fifita for at least 18 months, and I draw comparison to Ben Murdoch-Masila, who has not been the player he was at Salford.
A pity that it appears that his stay at Trinity is over, but I think the tone of most posts on this thread are of the opinion that he's no longer the value for money that he was.
I've no qualms with BM-M moving on, but would not look to DF as his replacement (though much stranger things have happened, as the saying goes).

| You can see it though - Fifita gets a move and then works his knackers off to get into shape, look at Pauli Pauli.

| The crucial sentence for me is the reference to him refusing to wear GPS in the past. It sounds like he has a problem with GPS for reasons that are only known to him, something which the club has tolerated in the past. Dave hasn't changed his stance, it would appear. It has become compulsory, that's all.
What I recall from before the resumption is that MC commented that a couple of players are not agreeing to the paycuts that everyone else has tolerated, for the good of the club and also for the good of the game, and one would surprise everyone. It was also apparent that Fifita was one of the last ones to agree terms. Draw whatever conclusions you want from that.
Every player has a value, measured against what they bring to the club. That is why some players get away with more things than others, because they bring added value. I can't help wondering whether the club has decided that despite what he has been capable of on the pitch, he has become a luxury they can do without, particularly as what he brings on the pitch isn't quite what it was.
He is at the end of his career. He could see it out with us, but he is bound to wonder whether there is one final stint somewhere else. Somewhere hotter, or a bigger club, or closer to home. Arguably, choosing to see it out with us would be the laziest of the options and perhaps we wouldn't get the best out of him as he sees out his career, the contract in the bank.

My eyes must be worse than I thought because I thought that there was no difference at all regarding Paulis weight.

| I wonder why Kay was not stood down indefinitely because his offence could be considered a breach of the protocols put in place by the club.

| I really don't get this rose tinted Pauli Pauli thing?? He looks no different shape wise and effort wise than he did for us towards the end of his stint.
He'll be on TV at 6.30 tonight. Lets see.

What offence has Kay committed. There’s no indication he has the virus. The club statement states, “Liam Kay has had to stand down, due to a family situation where he has been told he must self-isolate and will not be available for 14 days.” I don’t know his situation, and I doubt you do.
