Thought some great performances from Trinity today. Horo had is bets game, Kirmond and Ashurst put in great shifts. To me Hampshire should keep his shirt. Hurst gets better.

Would like to see a but more from Randell, think Woody is better option at the moment. However Pauli just not doing it, 2 pens and one knock on in an otherwise ineffective short spell.

Agree about Pauli though to be fair the amount he drinks and smokes the fact he can get on the pitch is a minor miracle its not his fault hes getting picked.
The guy is a liability how long are people prepared to give him to get fit lol hes had a full pre season and 8 games the reason he is so far off the mark is due to his off field antics its disrespectful to the club and his team mates.

Still not good enough and I can't see where a win is coming from. Back to the old tactics of switching off between 45 and 65 min when in the lead and then spending the rest of the game chasing the lead again. A few dodgy calls went against us which certainly didn't help matters, but it's not just down to poor officiating. We're now 5 losses in a row with the league leaders up next

Genuinley thought you would win this one when I saw the team that Leeds put out,heard you were winning by 10 points then very surprised to hear you had lost when we were travelling home from the giants game.
Everything has been going so well over the last 12 months for you,does this put Chester under any pressure now this winless run is increasing ?

Thought it was a good game and we were unlucky to lose. Move on get on with the next game and keep our heads up.

It's a genuine observation about today's game and a genuine question asking if you guys think Mr Chester is under any pressure.

Well that's you out of the way for a month or so.

I was a radio listener today and the commentators were saying constantly how Pauli was hard to put down and seemed very impressed. Interesting to see the other views.

They also sounded very surprised at the try by Ash Handley, I think, with them commenting that the player didn't celebrate. There was a lot of comment too how Leeds were getting away with a lot in the tackle. I do think Kendall is a bit of a rabbit in the headlights against a big side. Wasn't him who was determined not to give us a penalty against Wigan in front of the sticks to make it a draw, even when they were taking an age? I just don't think he wants to be the ref who causes an upset.

Leeds looked much the better attacking force whereas we insisted on coming back inside until the last minutes of the game. Quite a few "dangerous" long passes in his own twenty metre area from Jowitt, which, fortunately, came off. I would keep Rocky H, Jowitt & Batchelor in the side for now. Thought our best attacking forward was Ashurst, and Hirsty put in a good stint also. Unfortunately we had the usual WT twenty minute nap in the second half. Three consecutive games against top sides with a maximum five point gap shows that we are nearly there or thereabouts.

I don't think the ref gave us anything and had he stopped the clock when Leeds were crawling back after our last try I thought we would have nicked itbut I thought the effort from the boys was excellent. Great game though

We're losing narrowly against the top sides. Might be the same next week. After that, we have a run of games we have more of a chance in, so the season starts to balance out.
