| Plan A will NEVER happen they will offer terms MC would never accept and blame it all on us for being inflexible, and "we've tried"Time to move on on with plan B and fight the fight from outside the city. Should that be ultimately unsuccessful so be it . Because once we leave there'll be no coming back to Wakefield, Box will see to that. I'd sooner we folded than let Walker,Richardson and co run this club.

So we've nothing to lose. Play the game, see what comes of it.

| I'd sooner the club accept whatever terms get offered to build a stadium, argue about the details once it's built. We're in a weaker position to negotiate now, but if someone actually builds a stadium, our hand is strengthened. If the terms once it's complete are unworkable, walk away from the stadium. The council and developers may be cynical wjen they have the upper hand, but they're not going to pull down a £15m brand new stadium without lots of questions being asked of them

It's a two-way street, if that happens MC then can tell the public why the terms are not acceptable and that WMDC is trying it on.
I also can't see any scenario where Walker or Richardson would try or want to run the club. Walker might be in this situation for some cash and I can't see Ted wanting back in or for that matter the fans letting him. It's not exactly easy and there's no money to be made owning Trinity.

Kind of comes back to my basic point that a stadium was never going to happen then under the current structure, so at least see what the new one offers. We are no worse off, and MC and CB might go back to their Plan B.
If the removal of the threat of legal action was the Trinity side of the new joint effort, perhaps it might raise it's head again. If, however, it turns out that there actually wasn't a legal case after all, we are goosed.

| Salvage what we can get it sorted in the next year or it could be the end of the club.

What do these new plans look like? Is it 4 basic stands still 10k capacity?

Was it Rowley who went ballistic recently in the press about Trinity, and it had the smack of someone else's words but said through him?

So that stuff before about the ground was based on something someone else has seen but not you, and your inside knowledge is based upon playing marbles with Rodney more than sixty years ago?
I'm not saying you're wrong, but I've heard of better inside info.

| Can anyone explain to me why Rodney Walker would want to wreck the club, and be involved purely for financial gain?
Surely he doesn’t need the money.
The only thing I can think of is that he just likes being ‘top dog’.
Not favouring him any way , just puzzled.
Also why does Box seemingly hate us so much?
I am no Cas lover but would like to see both clubs prospering in new stadiums.
Why can the powers that be just not see the benefits that two hugely successful RL clubs would bring to Wakefield area.
Baffling.

Although i don't know the guy and haven't had meetings like a few have on this forum but that's what I've always found baffling. He might support Cas, good for him, but as the head of WMDC, the bloke should be making the most of having 2 teams playing in Europe's top RL comp and also another in the Division below. It's like they've always used that as an excuse for things instead of embracing it and using as a vehicle to showcase the City. it's not as if we both don't do well out of the rivalry at the gate also.
I also don't really understand the Walker thing, as he's been involved with the Club heavily over the years, I'm not sure if I'm correct but I'm sure I have a memory of him lending the Club some cash a number of years ago, when we had HMRC after us, about the time we went tits up with Ted, around then anyway. It just all seems strange that this guy who has supported us in the past would stoop apparently from the rumours so low. That being said the Newcold episode doesn't do the guy any favours and may give us some clues but still to see us potentially get kicked out of SL without a home is bizarre.
Also on the subject of this new Trust (that the Club can't find registered anywhere), how can the Council dictate who is on a Community Trust, surely it needs some representation from the Club, either in the form of supporters or owners. It also really needs asking at one of these Council meetings whenever the next one is, why the present Trust that was deemed worthy at one time, is now not. Even though they haven't done anything wrong at all & the lack of progress has been down to a developer plus also zero pressure from WMDC why Newmarket hasn't come to fruition in all areas over 5 years now. From the Community stadia and facilities side to the 2000 jobs that were promised to the public if they got the land. That's not even bringing in the Newcold fiasco.

| It's all about greed the developer getting maximum return for the site. Never ever had any intention of building a stadium and Box is allowing it to happen. Ted Richardson never left the trust Timmins kept him upto date with everything that was discussed, and he'll still be there now with the new trust. He should never be allowed within a million miles of Wakefield Trinity. Should MC&CB walk away as Box is hoping Walker will front the club and that weasely little man will pull the strings.

| What I don't get is why draw up new plans if the stadium isn't going to happen? Why draw up new plans when the ones in September although they looked impressive it was still a basic design?
As I see it as it stands at the moment we have a good genuine honest owner who wants what we were promised but also doesn't want to see the end of our great club if we get nothing. We all know that greed corruption or incompetence has been the reason we are not playing in the brand new community stadium we were promised.
We will have a great season on the pitch with in my opinion the best side we've had in 30+ years. The developers/council will work with this new manufactured trust and community stadium will happen at Belle Vue in whatever form. MC will reluctantly agree with the view of its the only way it will allow our club to continue then may walk away with his head held high at the end of the season. That leaves still with a SL Wakefield Trinity in a fit for purpose stadium but with new owners. Hope I'm wrong but that's how I see it.
