I got TRB drunk last night and he spilled the beans. He said not to tell anyone until April the first as negotiations were at a difficult stage !

In my opinion MC treats true supporters like me with contempt . His plans to take this historic club to Dewsbury will destroy it . It has been my life . I am too old for change . I am sick of people saying there is no alternative . The RFL has money and could spend it on making our ground safe for the next 4 years of the lease . If we were a fashionable club they would do it . Unfortunately we have nt been fashionable since 1962 when i watched my first game with the likes of Gerry Round Gert Coetzer Neil Fox Rocky Turner Harold Poynton Ian Brooke etc etc .What have we come to when a jumped up accountant is dictating to us.

Membership should mean something more than just being able to attend the game . Members should be able to elect a committe to oversee the running of the club . A revolutionary idea i know but at least we wouldnt have the ground sold to some irish bank .

I think we have gone beyond reasonable discussion because we now have a chairman who is so determined to undermine everything if it involves the council. I know he is our messiah but why only Dewsbury is it because it is outside the WMDC district whilst Featherstone which is a far better stadium is not.
I fear the club as become nothing more than a pawn to be used to try to maximise the embarrassment to the council rather than what is best for Wakefield Trinity. We are not a charity but yet we follow the current trend of looking to blame others. I am yet to see much with regards his favourite politician the MP for Morley in respect of helping the club or even saying anything about the club.
I am sorry but that is how I see it and have done so for quite sometime but I expect the usual will be on here saying what can he do, why don't you take over etc.
I know he reads this forum so please explain to us what is going on rather than sound bites on Twitter, you never know we might agree but to come to us after you have decided what is best and expect people to buy season tickets at full price regardless you may be disappointed.
I hope you don't believe the people on the forum are or even represent the majority they do not they are however the most dedicated and will follow you regardless, so treat them with a little more respect they have the success of the club at heart so for once tell them what is happening. They have put up with a lot and the majority still turn up home and away, buy new shirts and unlike me rarely take exception to what you decide. They have never even questioned why no accounts have been published because I believe we are still a limited company, but this is not my field of expertise and maybe it is not required.

Can i ask why did you sp not buy Glover out ?

The usual arguement, ok he invested at the outset but how does that compare with how much we the supporters have invested and continue to do so. We may not all have the ability to invest one large sum but we certainly invest more over any one season. What if we all stopped his investment would not look so good, so cut out the why didn't you because without us there would be no club or am I wrong.

A very revolutionary idea, but can you imagine a hundred s from RL fans/Twitter/Facebook having a say in the running of the club, I got involved with SWAG ten years since as I went to a meeting and there was around ten people there, the Trinity fans are apathetic, up front and brave behind a keyboard. But sadly that's where it ends.
