| I would imagine the bradfor game drew interest from some of the fans of sl teams not playing today given it was a top of the table clash

| As the OP for this subject and after todays game I think I have had a change of mind.
Standing in the North stand with Cas supporters either side it was a total embarrassment seeing the team I have staunchly defended being ripped to pieces yet again and totally humiliated by a very ordinary side. I really do understand why people stay away.
To play as we did for the first 20 -30 minutes and completely capitulate to another hiding is completely beyond my reasoning.
Having said that it is obvious that some players are not up to SL standard. The championship and who knows what beckons.......?

| 4000 that's lucky and completely inaccurate. I presume it was not supplied by the club a bit like London's crowd figures last year.

Do you mean the very ordinary side pushing for 4th place, who finished 4th last year (and were one win away from finishing top), were last years cup finalists and have beaten every SL team in 2015?

Thinking about it now it is puzzling. I thought the big difference was the speed that we shifted the ball to the edges.

Yep that's the one, the very same one what were gifted three first half tries, had the benefit of a ref that continually let you stand offside at the play the ball amongst other things, and let a very poor side by today's performance score four easy tries against you, you can of course claim that your pushing for a top four spot, you you know it's not going to happen, but admittedly it does make your flimsy argument look more realistic. A real top 4 side would have destroyed us today unlike your side what struggled for some parts of the game.

No doubting what you say but you must admit that in the first half we were for the most of it as good as you. Cas didn't change how they played, Wakefield fell apart. Cas did nothing spectacular to win today they didn't have to!
What I will say about Cas is that they all seem to want to play for the club - there are no stand out 'star' players but they certainly play for their coach.
With the financial backing Cas seem to have and excellent support they have who knows what they will do in the play offs.

I would consider having the same number of points as the team in 4th spot with one game to go constitutes pushing for 4th place.
I'm happy scoring 58 points despite struggling for some parts of the game, although as you say I felt we conceded some soft tries (although two of them came with the game well and truly in the bag).
I hope Wakefield do well in the second part of the season. The rivalry between the clubs is good for both of them, particularly financially as the derby tends to create higher than average attendances for both clubs. I also like playing Wakefield at Magic Weekend as our extra game. Long may it continue.
