Is there a ground in Knottingley?
We seem to have a good relationship with Doncaster

| Doncaster can only attract a few hundred for its own team!!! Nice ground but 23 miles away seems a little too far methinks.

| I wonder if cost is more important than distance, within reason of course and Doncaster would not be one of those. I say again you would be facing sporting oblivion if the club does not have a plan to return to Wakefield and a fixed timescale or people will think the move is just to bury Wakefield Trinity and replace it with who knows what.
I suppose we will get the usual hints but nothing concrete and as per usual the ones who will not be consulted are those that pay to support the club. How can people buy season tickets if they don't know where they will be expected to travel to which could be the case because our notice period at BV does not expire until the end of December.

| Next year we could be Super Leagues advert for expansion?
No ground and able to play anywhere, because the RFL don't want us anyway!
Cheap way to get what they want.
Think people need to give their heads a shake before putting 2+2 together and getting 'homeless'.

| I'm with MC all the way. Finances come 1st, can't afford the take rent, move on. The bloke is sorting out the failings of past regimes, we have reaped exactly what we have sown. Utmost respect for a man that clearly has Wakefield Trinity the club best interests at heart. It's just a pity we didn't have this guy at the helm many many years ago !

| The club cannot sell season tickets or hospitality so no revenue until they announce where we are to play, I am afraid this is a basic fact. I expect a few will buy regardless but once again the majority are not so accepting how can you make a financial pledge of over £200 when we could be playing at Doncaster for example.
It is easy to say finance is all that matters but sadly we are a rugby club and our customers are fickle and as we have seen are happy to walk away.

| We don't even know what league we are playing in yet so the ground issue has no effect on Sts at all yet.

| Although AGENT XIII has a real downer on Carter, I sympathise with his concerns on this subject. When will we find out what the alternatives are? Surely this will have been agreed in principle if not contractually where's the harm in putting the option into the public domain? Wouldn't that be a useful as leverage when negotiating with the BOI.

I don't think it's the norm to show your hand in a game of poker !

If we're going with the poker anaology, I'd say he's raised the stakes, it's up to BOI to decide if they want to call or fold on the deal.
