Webster is going to use him differently than Hull did apparently? Will he be competing for the 6 position only then so isn't really a utility back is he as Tim mentioned as being secure at 7.

Strange one. Still it keeps the Aussie quota up. Sammut, Smith, Hall, Godinet and Miller. Plenty of options now in the halves, sadly not in the backs.

Would have preferred a fullback or centre as i don't really see what improvement Miller is going to bring other than adding depth which, whilst good to have, is not imho the best use of our overseas quota.

All that said i assume he comes cheap thanks to his Hull pay off and i hope it works out. Don't really see where Sammut fits in now if everyone is fit though unless he is at fullback and Hall plays at centre.

I wonder if the thought has crossed Webster's mind of playing Miller as a third Pivot at 13?

It's worked successfully in the past for other teams, we aren't lacking in the pack so would potentially be a good idea to try out.

He's too small for 13, a position where you've to do serious defensive graft and taking the ball up. Like to see Daniel Smith get a run there next season.

Think Godinet will definitely be impact hooker from the bench now with Hall, Sammut and Miller competing for the 6 position. Hall may find himself at centre more often if we have similar injury issues with Lynne and Collis next season.

Hope the coach has a good idea of his best 17 with the pivots at his disposal.
