I certainly have no say in any player. Unlike some, I know I actually know very little about playing ability, and therefore put my trust in someone who has played at quite a decent level.
My fav player left last year because we couldn't afford him and had to go a different route. So is life.

Err, Ok then. As the man with the responsibility of running the club, i hope that you are satisfied that if you are letting a senior player go in a vital position, that an adequate replacement was coming in.

I don't think we expect you to be able to, or have any need, to justify the players we do or do sign. From our perspective, most would say that RM has given good service. From my own perspective I like the players who like to be with us. For me the loyalty value, especially in our sport, is immense. Clubs like Leeds etc have it in spades because the players are there for a decade or more, not a couple of years. Richie wears his heart on his sleeve, he can make bloopers, but then he brings other values to the table and he, and others, have put, what is for them, a lot of themselves into this club.

Of course all of this is said without full knowledge of the financial dealings or the full scope of the recruitment plans and we, like you, must put our faith in the coach to come up trumps. I'm sure it will all work out, but at moment it takes some understanding!

And it's true about taking some understanding. Unfortunately all the facts won't be made public, therefore conclusions can be jumped to.

Don't matter who our favourite players are if we cant afford them then that's fair enough we have had enough of the over spending in the past and look where that got us.

TRB in this day and age do you really believe loyalty exists, believe me its all about agents and money "if the price is right come on down".

I know what you mean i am the same but i dont think its the same in sport i.e in the round ball game i remember Lampard playing for West Ham his local club and a club his dad played for, and every time he scored kissing the badge, next thing you know hes at Chelsea kissing the badge.

We could do a lot worse than trying to get someone like Ryan Hampshire on a season loan.
