FFS this is getting as bad as when Glover was around. If a current player has signed a contract why not announce it ?
If for some strange perverse reason he thinks it should be kept secret, then why tweet ?

To create a buzz? Get people talking? People anticipating? I dunno. I don't mind it really, when it is announced doesn't make a difference to me. Probably so news outlets can announce it before he does it personally, also.

Probably timing the announcements to coincide with the season ticket going on sale for next season. Hope it's worth the wait.

Yes that's fair enough and I can understand the commercial reasons for keeping a signing quiet in such circumstances.
However its the childish teasing tweets that I don't see the need for, thought those days had gone when batman and robin left the club.

Nearly every other "release" in the entertainment history has some pre release announcement.
Why follow MC if you don't want to hear anything from him? If you only want to hear the formal announcement, stop following him and wait for the Web Site announcement.

It's a bit like when people moan on about the telly, turn it off if there's nothing on you like or at least channel surf until you find something you do.

Far better for the club to announce the signings' sooner rather than later, it eases the disappointment if the players' signed are not the ones linked with your club earlier and you personally are looking forward to playing in your team, doesn't make it better but gives you more time to get used to it.

fair enough for the players been resigned but when it is a new player we have to wait for all parties to be happy for it to be announced including the club he is leaving

I see your point but what about Sneyd,Price to Hull, Goulding to KR, Hauraki to Salford, Vella to Saints, and our own Tautai to Wigan to name just a few examples. Why should we be any different, unless our signings' have not actually gone through yet and he does not want to alert other clubs' of the possibility of us signing them, just a thought.

Got to think that some players may be waiting for it to be 100% certain that we will be in SL. I think if we get two more wins we may see see action on the transfer front. 9 games left , Bradford get 6 points back leaving them needing three more wins than us which does not sound impossible, if we get two more wins they will need 5 wins from 9 which sounds a big ask. If the high court finds against them next week then all is good for us.

Personally don't think Bradford will get any points back, I just don't see it being something for the High Court to rule on. Mind you it would be good of the High Court Administration to clear everything off the desk to fit in such an important matter as a 6 point deduction for the Bulls. Clearly, their case must be expedited - I'm sure everything else they have arranged is of inferior importance.
