| The people who went and cheered the players on still seem to believe there is something to support.
I'm really pleased they are slowly starting to get it together.
I understand why you and a few others are being so negative but don't mock those that still support the whole team from top to bottom.

| Quote: upthecats "Did you expect more from these 2 fixtures, seriously?
Cas have gone and walloped a much better side than us today, so despite folding in the last ten mins or so that wasn't the worst result in the world....
Not been today but doesn't look the worst beating......for the 12th best team in the league were those two results/performances way, way short of what they should have been?
Also, taking into account missing key players in both fixtures....Ali.....TT.....Collis.....Kirmond.....4 genuine quality players......also more experimenting with positions etc.......fans were calling for experiments with positions.....in games we weren't expected to win.....
For me, the crunch time is the next 3-4 games.....hopefully now, we have fixed up a few busted bodies....a nice break to freshen all the squad up......we'll have Walshaw & Wildie both back and match fit and chomping at the bit......there's been plenty of experimenting with combinations....player positions etc.....I've been one of the very few to give Agar a bit more of a chance than most......in 4 games time, if we're not on more than 4 points then I will jump aboard.....'"
If you're happy to have seen your team concede 44, 60, 42, 43 and 36 in the last 5 games then good luck to you, you must have the patience of a saint. I think the next 4 are Hull, Widnes, Cas and Warrington, can you honestly see this coach sorting our defence out, picking the right team ie the best 17 and making them into the side they are certainly capable of ? because I cannot. While ever he is the coach of this wonderful club the same things are gonna keep on happening, surely you've seen this recurring theme during his tenure, it's getting beyond a joke now.

| Effort definitely there today as was team spirit. I really enjoyed the game today, thought Walshaw was outstanding as was Ryan (again). Daniel Smith played well at loose and despite people crucifying Siejka he actually had a decent game with some nice kicks in the first half. Washbrook and Scruton were very poor but overall a good game and scoreline definitely flattered the Giants. Oh and Sammutt had a good game at fullback, saved a couple of tries and was involved in all attacks.

| Emley.....It's the nature of the game nowadays mate....teams can score points and score them quick.....
The 43 against Cas I thought slightly flattered them and not much to work on from that game to near a winning performance for me.....anyway they scored 40 again today against a far better side than us....
Likewise, Huddersfield are a team that can score points....they scored 42 away at Salford on Friday....
I think people need to remember we are a bottom 4 side in every way, shape and form......those 2 results/performances over Easter are not anything unusual for a bottom 4 side....
As I said before, we've had key players missing for a squad with the lack of quality depth we have.....if we can get all those back and fit with the two weeks off and build on some of the positive things we have done in ggames this season, then we may well surprise one or two in the coming games.....you never know...

| Sorry but having effort there is the minimum requirement, it should be a given not a bonus. But these players are better than they are performing but it just not happening and that is down to the coaching they are receiving. If Agar stays the only way that this team will stay up is if the bulls don't get their points back. Now i'm of the opinion that this team is better than that and has the ability to stay up whether the deduction is rescinded or not, but it won't happen as we are. It is time for change.

He would have had a better game at stand off. Sykes had some good ball and position but only thing I remember him doing is throwing an intercept for 6 points. If you take away the 18 we gifted them from our own stupid mistakes it would have been a 2 point ball game

| But equally Sykes or Mathers might have had a much worse game at full back and may have cost us 3 or 4 tries? That's the problem when you need to accomodate a few players throughout the side who are a fair bit past their best.....about finding the best balance throughout the side....an absolute thankless task and one you will always get people questioning....just glad a few have got back from the game and said a few positive things.....can take heart for the Hull game now and dare I say it....look forward to it....

He also made two mistakes that lead directly to Huddersfield tries. Now if he'd have been in the halves....

| I don't personally think its a disadvantage to our attack having Sammut at fullback, he is involved in everything. The problem is Sykes at halfback . Think Harry will come good if given a fair shot, perhaps Siejka and Godinet ???? Definitely keep Mathers from fullback ,its a pleasure to see some-one catching the ball on the full and making one-on-one tackles when needed.

| I thought the mistakes he made looked down to tiredness as much as anything, he was one who gave his all on Friday as well. I just thought he had a good game today...

| I suppose we should be grateful. Putting effort in? Well how jolly good of them. Just showa how low expectations are now. A twenty point loss doesn't seem quite so bad now.

| Sammuts problem is he is always prone to a major blooper like today and that is much more exposed and often more costly at fullback. He gets his hands on the ball just as much at stand off but is less likely to cost a try. Fullback is a problem but for me sammut is better served in the halves alongside Godinet. McShane and Wildie to rotate at hooker. Siejka was signed before Sammut but didn't arrive til afterwards. Unless he is a decent fullback then for me he is the odd one out.

That's the thing, some people will be happy with today's result after the shed load of points we have conceded lately.
Finishing 12th this year is acceptable but no one is coming up, so I fear for us next year.
Who is going to help us next season?
We should be aiming for 10th this year.
