With a very heavy heart Bazzo, I agree. I have had enough. We attract incompetents to run our club like shush attracts flies. I dare say I shall waste the odd Sunday and a few quid through the turnstile, I shall keep my 1873 going but I cannot justify the time and outlay of a season ticket on a club that repeatedly lets it's supporters down. Oh, it's all my fault for not supporting I suppose some will say. I disagree. I've put a lot of money through the coffers in the last few years and for what? To see a club being run by a bunch of amateurs, worse than amateurs, amateurs don't take the salaries some of these clowns have. We have, again, spent way beyond our means. We have failed to run a club in a professional manner behind the scenes and in the shop window. They have taken our money and p'd it up the wall frankly. Until I see a collection of people who produce a club that looks like a professional outfit that knows where it is going I shall be an occasional visitor, watcher from afar. I cannot tolerate the fiasco that is Wakefield Trinity anymore.

Well then we'll always be a selling club struggling to make ends meet and will naturally find our level. This may be the start of that process.

Not at a club thats been mediocre for two generations and will be for the foreseeable future. SL is now a financial competition of rich owners and we don't have one. Without been to crude we are selling a garbage product compared to what's out there. OK I accept that, what I don't like is how MC is successfully pushing the blame on to the people of Wakefield. The product is worth what people are willing to pay. STs at £125 for a club on the verge of the top 8 is deemed value, £180 for a bottom 3 club is not deemed value to to the wider public. How much is a ticket worth at Wigan considering the quality of rugby and success you can expect? All this is open to laws of supply and demand, and emotional black mail can only play a minor part in this. You need to get out of this mid set that other people think like us die hards. Just don't blame other people that have had enough we've only ourselves to blame.
If we have the best long term interests of the club why get rid of marketing people from the club? These are essential staff in professional money raising environment, whose going out in the community? Who is there to ring round the other 3k ST holders that have yet to renew?
Why the hell have we voted to for the proposed new system with 2 teams to be relegated (at the same time more than doubling our chance of relegation)? It's been quoted in the RL press that the rebels wanted to stay at 14 and have 1 up and 1 down. At least under that system we stood a fighting chance of been in SL leading up to 2016 and hopefully Newmarket. This is a question that MC keeps ignoring in his QA even though it keeps getting asked. I suppose all that is the fault of the apathetic Wakefield public.'"
Best post on here in a long time.

I was saying that we are trying to reduce wage bill and bring in some cheaper replacements.
He was saying that one of his ex players was looking for a club in 2014.
His name is Matt Bell and played for Penrith and Wests Tigers. He is a prop or second row.
Now I dont watch too much NRL, but I know there are a lot that do. Does anyone know of him.'"
Yes mate he WAS at Wests a couple of years ago but didn't play much I don't think - it was the year when Heighington played for England.
Seemed to disappear off the radar - he didn't play for wests last year I'm sure (I have Premier )

| last year we had all on to compete this year with the exodus of the so called stars, can anyone see us winning a game, supporters wont want to pay super league prices to see championship rugby, that's if they can even produce that,i can understand mr carter wanting to balance the books but selling the players off wont bring in revenue next season

| I appreciate that you're probably all feeling very low, but if no-one else leaves you still have a very good core of players and have more than a fighting chance of not being in the last two spots next year.

| I haven't bought one, but that's because I work weekends so it would be a waste of my cash. I buy shirts etc. during the year, if I have to justify myself, and pay on the gate when I can attend.

| Think rovers have signed a very good prop who's disciplinary behaviour should be able to be curbed by Sandercock.couple of questions I have looking outside from in with regards to the fire sale of players.
1) Why would the Wakefield club or any other that is trying to reduce the wage bill vote for a two up two down relegation ? Real risk if being relegated here which admittedly would allow the club to rebuild again in the lower division.
2) By offering expensive contracts in the first place then reducing the cost of season passes for two seasons has this contributed to the current situation?

| 1. I'd guess (and I have no inside knowledge) that we're towing the SL/RL party line, they lent us money to pay the tax man off.
2. Sadly yes.

1. Beats me... hegemony?
2. Not as simple as that... Higher prices - less customers - less sales..
