| Aiton one of the best in the game , when he puts his mind to it. His form for the most of the seasons been ok, but I expect more from him. When he runs from d/ h he looks good , his distribution from d/h s average. if we do keep him he will have to go up a gear and take more on during the whole season, if he goes so be it. If a good deal could be done with Leeds I would be ok with that. I would also say he will be spot on week in week out for a Leads team, leaving Wakey fans wondering what could have been.

| Did anyone watch last seaons under 19`s ? Pleanty of effort but zero skill from any of the hookers or halfbacks. Without doubt our 6,7 and 9 `s were the worst passers of a ball I have ever watched at this level and as a result the team was so poor despite plenty of effort.

| Like you belly I watched u19s regularly home and away and I couldn't agree more with your comments these people including young mask ill with a place in a first team squad with respect haven't a clue , true the kid showed a bit of promise against hemel but come on a good amature said would have pushed them'. I'm one who fights the corner for young players but their not all ready and like belly you've to watch them more than once to judge

| I have not seen smith play personally but I have heard really good things about him from others who have.
It's a massive step up for him but who knows , it's not that long ago that Kyle amor was in a very similar position.

| Aiton is in and out for me. One of the best in the game? No way. We have had way better. Sam Obst was hugely better. He'll do but I wouldn't cry if he went. As opposed to losing Amor (disaster) Kirmond(would be a disaster).

Imo Obst was in no way shape or form hugely better than Aiton.

| Quote: Theboyem "Is he actually signed up for next year?
Aiton is a must keep player for me, exactly the type of 'never give up' player we need if we are going to have any chance next year, especially given as Carter has already said he is far from highly paid and excellent value for money. We just need someone to spell him either side of halftime to keep him at his sharpest and Wildie fits the bill perfectly.'"
Completely agree.

| Aiton is a good hard working, tough tackling player but his alround game isn't in the same class as Sam obst who's passing and running game was far superior ,Sam also had a kicking game aiton dosent

| Obst was a tryer, but too often opted for the headless chicken approach.
Aiton is a class above in my view, but I would agree that his distribution from dh is not always the best; when he plays a more direct running game though, he's very dangerous. As for his defence - he's amongst the best in SL, let alone at WTW.

| I think Obst had a different value to us as a player.
An excellent hooker and not a bad stand in scrum half.
Aiton IMO is a better hooker but, I don't think he could cover the SH role.
Obst also worked his socks off for the club for a number of years, whereas Aiton
only has a couple of seasons under his belt.
Lets hope he's got a few more seasons for Trin !

Two qualities that appeal to some supporters more than others I'm afraid.
