Maybe this is Wake's problem, we are looking to run before we can walk. Look at Widnes, very hit and miss last year, this year progressing. Next year will have optimism to finish in the 8 without stories of financial meltdown.
A club with a plan for stability that they are sticking to.

| I get the feeling that some who used to be "in the know" thanks to botty kissing are quite upset that others might now be in possession of information they'd have had in the past. I find that quite amusing really.
You can always claim to be a "loyal" supporter, maybe even the "loyalist" or "best" but is it the club you have at heart or your own status within that?
I feel very confident in those at the Trust and those helping them have the club at heart before anything else.

There's not that many more that anyone would pay a fee for, If the only offers you got were for those players, And you needed the money to survive. It's those players that will be going.
It just baffles me how you could've ended up in such a mess so soon. This is twice it appears James Elston has run you towards the brink as CEO.

I agree 100% with this and it has been apparent since Glover took over/Ted went.

| Quote: feline "I think James has value to the club in a Marketing role....look how we have moved on in terms of season tickets sold and also the variety of options available to fans. Look how packed Belle v has been this season. If he focuses on that side fully am confident we can grow the core support / brand and hopefully get more businesses on board ably assisted by the excellent Martin Hopkins who is one of the hardest working people at the club. Chief Exec for James was sadly not the role for him .'"
I work in sales and marketing I could double my sales in 6 months if I cut 50% off the price
I have ZERO confidence in Elston and I will not change my stance he must go before I put another penny into the club. From what I know of Martin Hopkins he is indeed a hard working fella I also know that the club could do with another 100 felines you deserve a life membership for your work at the club over the years.

| Elston is a former rugby player punching above his place in the role of CEO he hasn't a business mind or sales mind....Id go as far saying his wife has a better business mind if whats been said about the club having to hire the Dolls.
the club needs to get back to basics take control of things like the bars on game day and that way get back control of the thing that generates the most income on game day.

| From what daddycool said a while back on here the money they were getting from the contractor was more than the profit on the sales when they were managing the facilities themselves.

| After reading through all this it appears that some have suddenly become experts on running a rugby club. I'm guessing that very few, if any, actually have done, a few of us may have run our own businesses, a few more be experts in their own field, and (probably) mostly have garnered lots of experience in several field over time. Now, The club, fot that is what it is, The club, not OUR club. Now we have all invested over the years, time, emotion, maybe even money, but it is not OUR club. It is at present the Shareholders club and until someone waves a big bag of money and buys it thats how it will stay.I know people say no supporters = no club, but equally no AG would have equalled no club, so we are in no position to dictate who stays and who goes, we can sound off, but that is all we can do. We do not know who does what and for how much, Micheal carter does, we have to take him and his words at face value, and trust him to do what is right. We can offer our experience if applicable but really that is all we can do EXCEPT.......
Support the club as we always have doen, season tickets, merchandise even sponsorship. It must be unconditional, we cant say i;m not doing this if so and so is still there, over the years there have been people at the club that I would rather they had not been, but you have to accept the the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and take the rough with the sooth. we have been here before and may well be here again, but, in reality we haven't lost anything (except maybe a little confidence) we haven't lost money, nobody has died, there are a lot more important things in life to worry about, so lets keep things in perspectve.
Onward and (hopefully) upwards..

makes me laugh! club having to hire the dolls??? don't they work prior to the game selling tickets which more than covers what they are paid or should they just be non-paid? lets focus on players not earning their pay like mariano?? excellent until we play the big boys cas will soon find out!!
support the club, support the team! also ask why cas have not filed accounts for the second year running and why bulls didn't pay the wages on time AGAIN!!"
