Sometimes saying less is best, we like probably quite a few clubs are strapped for cash but they don't advertise it quite so Publically. I blame many on this forum for their paranoia forcing our new chairman into an ilconcieved statement. He has with his announcement allowed open season by the press on all our players signed or not. If we sell more players I hope some on here are happy with their contribution.

Presumably the plan was to increase attendances with the reduced prices, followed by a year on year increase in the price of the S.T’s.

Judging by our attendances over the last two years the plan was making progress. In hindsight the price hike should have been greater, however, it’s a risky manoeuvre to go too high.

The loss of our main sponsor had a far more detrimental effect than not increasing prices by enough IMO – allegedly in the reason of the said £400k.
