Is that 2 more after next year?

So what did AG bring.

He came in and saved us. We may not be here without him. He put money in (loan from his business I believe). He brought in a great enthusiasm and energy.
He steered us through the franchise process (but who can remember the embarrassment of the crusaders game the week after inc club management on pitch and t shirts in the club shop).
He made ground improvements inc the North Stand which is the best thing to happen at BV for god knows how long.
He created a buzz especially on Social Media (but some of his tweets pics I found unprofessional for someone in his position).
He created a club with a culture of season ticket/membership which before we didn't really have. This years packages are the best yet.
We have created a team (which on paper is our best for a long time).
We have a lottery (work in progress) which will go some way to fund our youth system.
We are closer to a new stadium than ever before.

So many positives but negatives too including financial problems rearing their head again. Same old some may say. But he saved us and for that we should be grateful.

Andrew Glover should have stayed but got rid of James Elston & Davide Longo, They have more day to day impact on how the club is run. If things carry on like this I can see us in the championship come 2015.....
Lets hope we can have a strong finish in our last games

He has stayed - he's still the owner and will be leading on the development of NM and the new College, both of which are vital to our long term future.

I imagine that once Michael Carter has got his ducks in a row, there'll be further changes to roles and responsibilities, in line with what he wants to achieve; there wouldn't be much sense in playing musical chairs at the top table, then everything else carrying on just as it was.

Sometimes I don't know whether to take your seriously.. icon_confused.gif
Hopefully with the changes it means people such as Elston are removed but who knows...

At the risk of dredging up every bitter and twisted poster that we have on here.....what is the big deal with Elston (and Longo for that matter)

I don't know him but I've met him. Seems ok, has the club at heart.
If he is to be judged on the clubs performance as a whole....there are positives and negatives

We have CCJs, but equally they have been handled
He signed some players on allegedly big contracts that some don't like but we needed something fast and he got us a team
Some don't like the way the season has gone, that certainly isn't him
Some don't like Agar, and think it is Elston's fault. As far as I could see they went through an interview process and it wasn't just his decision. They said at the time that he was the best bet for the long term rather than a quick fix. I can see that.
He does a lot of work with the sponsors. I'm not one but have been in the boxes a lot. He works hard and is 100% better at public speaking than any of the other board members that tried it in previous regimes (Rodders excepted)
The communication from the club is a 10 fold improvement since he has been in charge. It isn't always perfect but often good and we have some which we have never had before. Even just the Twitter feed to keep you up to date on match day alone is a vast improvement.
We are moving forward with NM and those that were there would have seen how involved Elston was at the public hearings, both speaking but also backing the other people that were there.
And above all that, he got Glover involved, which was worth it's weight in gold

So it's not that I'm his biggest fan, I just don't see quite why there is so much animosity towards him.

has he done something I haven't seen?

I dont question what James Elston has done for the club however since we had financial problems not long ago and we seem to be struggling again he is the one that spends the majority of the money.. He has been here when we were in adminastration last time and hes still here now.
I do believe their is a position for Elston but certainly not CEO.
As a person who is part of the few that aren't in 'the know' he is getting paid abit for not doing his job IMO correctly.

You have said what I have been feeling Pop Tart.Furthermore I abhor the personal attacks.
By the way anyone notice that Jim's wife Sarah has been appointed as official choreographer for the World Cup.
