Doesn't make right though - I know you through SWAG though I can't claim to know you like a brother but I've rarely met a more fair minded and level headed individual. That said I don't think you'd be too happy under the circumstances, because lets be fair he's been left years and this has remained as sustained abuse. Yes I get the point that this one wasn't much and were it in isolation I'd expect Griffin to rise above it, but it's not sadly. He snapped and I'm not sure I blame him.
Sorry but that's how I see the whole Griffin saga and I just wish we'd move on as he was no great loss anyway, all very sad

The whole Griffin saga I agree with you 100%! I was just commenting on pop tarts comment regarding saying good riddance is quite insulting. Being fat and ginger I've had much worse thrown at me, even comedians have fun with me!

And probably when a comedian said it you'd laugh but if some stranger walked up to you in the street and said teh same thing, you wouldn't. That's all I'm saying.
I'm quite layed back generally, but if someone came up to me and went out of his way to say something that was not complimentary I wouldn't be happy and would express that to the person in some way.
And we are talking about someone who is supposd to play a sport and a particular position that means he needs to keep a tough guy image. Whether you think he is tough, he will see himself that way. Picking him out like that is questioning that as far as I am concerned in front of people he probably wants to remain looking tough to, and if it had been done in a quiet pub instead of being in public you'd have probably got a slap to go with the all be it gentle abuse.
Let me be clear, I'm not saying I like him, or that I support saying what he said in front of those people, or indeed that I have a problem with Inside Man but I do think he had a right to react to what I would call a childish approach in a public place just to show him up. There was no need. It's time to let it go.
