Have you ever thought that some teams have a solid goal line defensive structure and it was this that contributed to our lack of points. And the result of a lot of defence is a side who tire later in the game, some things take time in a game, in this case worth waiting for.

Getting up quickly or trying to get up quickly helped. It got Hull on the back foot and us on a roll. Southern is a prime example it doesn't try to bother making more yards once he's tackled he hits the deck and tries to get to his feet as quickly as possible 2 or 3 of those in a set and you can catch opposition out or even get a penalty out of it especially if ref is keen.

Correct, Bibey used to get a lot of stick for that but his PTB was very quick and he got us moving even if he didn't look spectacular - ditto. This thrashing about in the tackle is OK if it gets you an offload or extra yards but if it doesn't it just allow the opposition to get back in their defensive line. Korki was a prime example of this for me, a lot of effort with little result far to often.

I cannot be held accountable for what they do, and neither can the other decent Hull fans who have to tolerate these idiots. There was poor behaviour on both sides including an assault by Hull fans outside the ground, due no doubt to drunken goading - something you know nothing about I'm sure.

I thought the Hull fans near me were fine. Apart from the game against Leeds at Huddersfield when they knocked the posts down I've always found the Hull fans to be fine.
They always bring numbers and support their team with their colours too and they love their rugby.
Generally I find their language slightly more course than mine but I can handle that.
They do need to control that small minority that stand right next to the away end at KC but we have those types too as we've found recently.

The friend is someone i have known for over 20 years who was in the a&e department when the fans in wakey shirts came in with facial injuries not sure when/ where the injuries took place but seeing the arguments at the ground 2+2 = 4
