Feel the need to say well done to Crigg for their win.
Was not a happy place to be in a losers dressing room after a final, but this is what makes the lads stronger players, as Snowie mentioned previously.

I am sure the occassion will have done both teams good and everyone involved can be proud of their young-uns.

Congratulations to BARLA for a wonderful event.

Met some great rugby people on our 'West Riding journey' this year - won't name them but I am sure they know who they are ermmmm both Cas teams!!!!

Re the injured lad - just a knock nothing more - was worried my lad might have woke up with a headache after 4 high's but he's fine too!

Congrats to Crigg again and looking forward to next season already!

Just found out that big jack from crigg who scored the winner had broken his shoulder blade in that tackle on the big hull player . Sure hell be back soon.

congratulations to crigglestone a well deserved win o9n the day although i missed the first 20 minutes.

its a shame about jack duggan too he`s a fantastic prospect in many ways and quite rightly teams know that he has to be respected or he`ll run a mock.kian and young barker were also exceptional and kian deserved the motm award "far better player than his dad icon_wink.gif ".

east hull were also fantastic and gave there all but there had to be a loser, im sure they will be there or there abouts again next year.already a trip to hull in the pipeline for the panthers in feb and we will be doing our best to close the gap on crigg next year has will the other teams in the league.

i cannot comment on what or wasnt said has i heared nothing but support for both sides, its just a shame that its even been mentioned when two teams put there bodies on the line for there entertainment and people still bring it up when they should be talking about a great cup final.

Spoke to a couple of people from BARLA today who had been to both days and both said without doubt the 12's final was the best game of the weekend and like others have said its a shame that bad language/jeering spoiled some peoples enjoyment of what was a bloody good game but my take on it is that every team's fans can be guilty of overstepping the mark and although its not nice it's going to happen so its better just to ignore it.
I really hope that if as suggested some of the Hull teams are included into the YJL as our cup run has shown us that they would be worthy and welcome additions.
Now roll on March when we can expect some fantastic rugby to be played judging from the standard of yesterdays match and some of the other performances in the intrim competition.

Kain had a great game and finally his dad got to drink from some silverware icon_biggrin.gifRUNK:

i sort of agree with the "shame its been mentioned" comment so to put the record straight you could count on one hand the folk who should be ashamed of themselves , the one causing most of the grief also continued in the bar afterwards and when gadges oldest had a word she threatened to "spark him out" and the one who came over and asks us to stop cheering as it would make them worse.
probably to much icon_biggrin.gifRUNK: icon_biggrin.gifRUNK: and expectation.

a big shout as well for Ross n tom on the day . not forgetting the exploits of all 17 who at some point or another have shone throughout the tournament .

the one thing that was evident with the Easts top players was the respect they had for the crigg lads and coming over to cas twice and then wakey as probably been the toughest assignments they have had. i just hope that the hull teams go summer and join us and the west riding's teams in the summer.

Rob, as usual you have a very balanced approach and as I have mentioned previously East's 'tour' this season has allowed us to meet some wonderful rugby people.

Crigg played a great game and were worthy winners, but another big plus was the excellent game boths sets provided. Not an ounce given and skill, pace and power very noticable from such young people.

These young lads putting their bodies on the line are all our sons, relations, team mates and friends. Training in often unfriendly weather and with coaches, admin and parents putting their effort in - it is testiment to the spirit of rugby league that we back all our juniors to the hilt.

With that in mind do the so called 'problems' at the game mentioned by Mutts need airing in public and was it really a case of handbags?
Perhaps this is one for the mods!!!

I didnt see or hear anything to comment on myself - I was pitchside, ...and then there was the mention about a comment made to a player!!!!!

Easts coach is happy to discuss - please pm me for mobile number.

As far as the Hull Clubs joining the YJL - who knows?... but I doubt it!!

For now I am happy to look forward to Christmas and the New Year and get ready for those immortal words... "Dad have you seen me boots?"

look basil fella its no handbags.read pm

the game lived up and over the hype , its all very good people turning a blind eye and pretending things did not happen they did, when on another hand they would kick off if it was the same for their kid.just like someone had to mentioned 4 head shots icon_wink.gif

i have removed my comments to level it out , but read an important post above which i can vouch for after talking to someone at the club the barla officials noticed it that must be taken as a stern warning.

with that in mind best game ive seen at this level and the lads did east hull very proud with not only the way they play but their nobility as well.

Thanks for the PM Muttley

May I suggest you buy a copy of the match video? - with all those things 'going off' in the stands, on the touchline and in the bars it must have been impossible for you to enjoy such a magnificant game of U12s rugby that everyone else did!
