Dale made a mistake,as all players do from time to time,to blame him is beyond belief .he had a good 89mins59secs,let's move on regroup for Catalans.

Agreed that Wakefield played a decent game sandwiched between two Morton howlers. It's really not Mortons fault that he is not Super League standard but Kear picks him so he tries his best. Wonder what the response would've been if Kevin Penny had had an identical game to Morton's for us today. Lets face it, it was a Penny type performance.

Cas were out of the contest until Wildie's poor kick, when we were 10 up, allowed Mathers to break away and ultimately lead to Rangi Chases try.

Final gift was, Kyle Amor's party piece. He did identical v Hull Kr twice but we escaped.

Three scapegoats in one bargain post.

Scapegoat of the match : Amor
2nd: Morton
3rd: Wildie.

Wrong option grubber kick at 16-6 which led to Cas break up the field and score shortly after.

We could go on all night creating scapegoats but then we'd have no players left! Then again that would probably suit some people. icon_rolleyes.gif a026.gif

As a Cas fan i'm over the moon that we won and its only natural that in a game that you lost, quite literally, on the toss of a coin you look for scapegoats, you shouldn't.

That game was everything a CC derby tie should be and my nerves were gone by the end of it. We all know it wont make make a jot of a difference to the suits at the RFL when it comes to license decision day and they should hang their heads in shame when they announce which proud club has gone because it doesn't meet their 'criteria'.

That game is what the RL SPORT is all about and hopefully sooner rather than later the RL BUSINESSMEN will wake up to that.

Great game, unlucky Wakey, please don't single out players it was a classic game that was decided over 90 mins by skill, effort and in the end luck - like good sport should be.

I wouldn't waste your breath feline. I stopped reading the comment when 'after' was used instead of 'have to'. Show's how clued up some people are.

I really hope the first few posters on this thread were actually there today. If they weren't they who the hell are they to criticise? The lads needed and deserved the support today!

Calmed down before I posted, well played both teams, yet to watch it back but on reflection a classic cup tie! 2 or 3 more quality and experienced players in our side and I genuinely believe we'd be competing and more often than not winning week in week out. These kids have got heart, just need a bit more guidance and quality around them.

I thought both teams put every effort in today cracking game for the neutral, again I have to say how impressed I am with waki this season the spirit is fantastic and u couldn't choose between the teams. With chase and Orr at half backs u wud ave thought a win on the cards for cas, but well done waki for not giving up, it's a killer going to golden point happened to us last season against Warrington and it's a bitter pill to swallow, good luck for rest of the season waki.
