Why does it? He wasn't getting a game. No point in paying someone to sit on their backside all the time! BJ has managed to secure an SL contract for next year - something we can't guarentee. Fair play to the club/player. We save money on an unused player and he earns money to support his family. Win win as i see it. I really don't understand why people seem to think that every player released must be replaced. We seem to be doing ok as we are.

He was only not playing because he was injured and would have been playing if fit. He is now back to full fitness. He was our best halfback and thus we are weaker without him. Yes Hyde and Lee did ok against Hull KR but theres a long way to go this season and I feel a little more experience in such an important position is going to be important. BJ gave us that and as such needs replacing.

Not so sure he would have been ahead of Lee or hyde.

Jeffries has flashes of class but has had little consistency. As for best halfback, not in my opinion. Although if you had said best halfback when he has his on games then I'd agree. Rather have the improving and consistent partnership of Hyde and Lee.

How do you know that? I would have been very suprised had JK drop Hyde or Lee for BJ, those two are the form half backs at present. Maybe at some point down the line he would have got back in but it's not as if we lack a h/b to come into the team if needed.

I can't see this happening. Firstly he is playing for Warrington so why would the let him go? Secondly why would he leave Warrington who are guaranteed a franchise for us who are perceived to be the most under threat? Fianally i heard that he didn't get on with Kear when they worked together last time because Kera wanted him to train hard.
